Opposition to Genocide is not Terrorism – It is the IDF not Hamas That Should Be Proscribed

The webinar on Tuesday evening, which nearly 300 people attended, was one of the most amazing that I’ve ever organised or spoken at. It expressed our determination that false allegations of ‘Terrorism’ will not deter us.

A range of speakers spoke in my support. I am on trial next week under the s.12(1) of the Terrorism Act 2000 accused of ‘inviting support’ for Hamas. As I have repeatedly made clear, I don’t support Hamas politically but I do support the right of the Palestinians to resist the Israeli state.

Speakers included Ali Abunimah, Editor of the Electronic Intifada; Annette Norman, mother of Filton 25 defendant Maddy Norman; Lubna Speitan who is proposing the Zionism is Racism motion at Green Party Conference; Ghada Karmi, author, academic and child survivor of the Nakba; Ronnie Kasrls, a former commander of the ANC’s military wing Umkonte we Sizwe in the struggle against South African apartheid and Intelligence Minister in Nelson Mandela’s first government and Huda Ammori, co-founder of Palestine Action and Tony Greenstein.

The Terrorism Act is being used against activists in the Palestine solidarity movement not terrorists. The British Judiciary has thrown off its mask as it sentences defendants for terrorism whilst keeping juries ignorant of the fact that convicting someone for criminal damage will mean that are sentenced as terrorists.

InJustice Jeremy Johnson, furious at the acquittal of the first 6 of the Filton 25 defendants on the most serious charges, filed Contempt of Court charges against Rajiv Mennon KC for informing the Jury of their right to decide a case on the basis of their own conscience and convictions. It’s called Jury Nullification or Equity. A historic legal power going back to the Bushell’s Case in 1670. It’s even on a plaque on the wall of the Old Bailey.

The case against Rajiv  Menon KC is the first time in British legal history that a barrister is being accused of contempt of court for having defended his own clients.

I have gone back to the original debate on the Terrorism Act in December 1999 to see how the government represented the legislation at the time.

The government, in the form of Jack Straw, lied to the House of Commons repeatedly. Terrorism was redefined in the Act to include ‘serious’ damage to property.

For most people, terrorism is about violence and terror directed at a civilian population not attacks on factories of death run by Israel’s Elbit Systems.

3 dictionary definitions of Terrorism don’t mention anything about property. The Cambridge Dictionary says that terrorism is ‘violent action or threats designed to cause fear among ordinary people, in order to achieve political aims.’

The Miriam Webster definition of terrorism is ‘the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion’ and the

Oxford Reference Definition is ‘The calculated use of violence or threat of violence to inculcate fear.

What Chamberlain J called the ‘colloquial’ definition of Terrorism bears no relationship to s.1 of the Terrorism Act.

“An action done for the purposes set out in s. 1(1)(b) and (c) constitutes terrorism if it involves serious damage to property even if it does not involve violence against any person or endanger life or create a risk to health or safety… [T]his definition of ‘terrorism’ makes the statutory concept wider than the colloquial meaning of the word.”

What Blair & Straw were really saying is that Black = White. It is a combination of both Newspeak and Doublethink. Terrorism is not violence against property but violence against people. Violence, by its very nature, is directed at living creatures not inanimate objects.

The official WHO definition of violence restricts the term to the intentional use of physical force or power against oneself, another person, or a group.

Former Defence & Foreign Minister of Israel, Avigdor Liberman accused Netanyahu of Supporting ISIS Gangs Against Hamas

Jack Straw’s original target in 1999 was the animal liberation movement not Palestine solidarity. He said:

There are people who claim to be in favour of so-called animal liberation who have engaged in actions that not only caused risks but resulted in the most serious violence to individuals, and have put people under threat of their lives. Such circumstances may well fall within the ambit of clause 1

In the parliamentary debate Conservative MP Douglas Hogg presciently warned that

By extending the definition of terrorism, we put at risk our long tradition of giving sanctuary to people who are fighting oppressive regimes abroad. I do not want protesters to be classified as terrorists.

Alan Simpson explained that that many MPs were involved in international campaigns, such as those involving the action of Kurds in resisting being driven from their lands by the building of the Ilusu dam, the resistance of the Ogoni in Nigeria to the theft & pollution of their lands & the resistance of the Amazon Indians to the destruction of the rain forests

Straw lied when reassuring Simpson:

people supporting one or another of the international causes he cites will not even remotely come under the Bill.... However, to think that the Bill will restrict the right of peaceful protest, demonstration and campaigning is wholly erroneous.

Simon Hughes of the Lib Dems made a similar point.

...the Bill's definition sweeps in not only people who attack property for an environmental objective or for objectives connected with other general issues such as animal rights, but people who support organisations outside Governments in countries that are not democratic. All those people would now be included in the definition.

Jeremy Corbyn pointed out that

Calling your opponents ‘terrorists’ is a familiar tactic of repressive states and it was something that New |Labour was about to introduce in this country.

Jack Straw said that ‘an organisation becomes a candidate for proscription only if it is concerned in terrorism’ which begged the question as to what terrorism was.

David Anderson QC, the Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation in his 2012 Report wrote that:

the current law allows members of any nationalist or separatist group to be turned into terrorists by virtue of their participation in a lawful armed conflict, however great the provocation and however odious the regime which they have attacked.

Straw admitted that ‘The power of proscription is of course an extreme power’ yet it is left to the absolute discretion of the Home Secretary, subject only to a cursory debate in Parliament as to who is proscribed. He lied when he said that

if the Secretary of State decides to proscribe an organisation, a judicial commission known as the Proscribed Organisations Appeal Commission (POAC) will make the final decision about any proscription.

It is the Home Secretary who makes the final decision. POAC is only relevant if there is an appeal against proscription and it has never made such a decision. It also deals with process not the merits of the decision.

Douglas Hogg pointed out that Kurdish representatives had asked the previous government for support in their campaign against Saddam Hussein and ‘On the face of it, that falls within the scope of action capable of constituting terrorism’..’ He went on to point out that a decision not to prosecute was left in the hands of the Attorney General.

I understand the right hon. Gentleman to be saying not that I am wrong, but that no one would be prosecuted for encouraging the Kurds to take such action, because of the discretionary power of the prosecution authority. That, however, is a profoundly unattractive situation.

In response Straw accused Hogg of having a ‘fevered imagination’. Well the fever has come to pass because the Kurdish Workers Party, the sister party of the Democratic Union Party in Syria, has been proscribed. Why? Because the dictator of Turkey, Recip Erdogan, is our friend. Whereas the PYD fought against ISIS with the Americans.

Alan Simpson asked ‘Who will define serious violence against the person (and)... against property? given the Judiciary’s long history of a much more limited and destructive set of interpretations subsequently being placed on words used in legislation’. He asked

Who will then say when an act of terrorism falls outside the scope of existing criminal law, in relation to the advancement of a political, religious or ideological cause?

Douglas Hogg pointed out that

The definition of terrorism goes far beyond the traditional definition. Historically and in previous enactments, we have essentially directed our attention to campaigns against the state,... the Bill includes attacks on the corporate estate, which is an extraordinary departure in our concept of terrorism.’

Hogg raised the prospect of direct action groups like Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth being targeted:

I strongly disapprove of all those characters, ... However, if I ask myself whether they should be treated as terrorists, I am bound to say, no way.

One of the most detestable creatures in the Blair government Charles Clarke told the Commons that

We are considering which international groups it might be appropriate to add, taking into account such factors as the nature and scale of the group's activities, the specific threat that they pose to UK and British nationals abroad, the extent of their presence in the UK, and the need to support other members of the international community in the global fight against terrorism. However, I emphasise that proscription is a heavy power; it will be used only when absolutely necessary.

This too was a lie. Hamas was proscribed in 2001 yet it had no connection whatever with the UK. But judges too aren’t above lying.

When the Court of Appeal ruled on 15 June 2026 that Palestine Action’s proscription was lawful, they contrasted them with the Suffragettes. Liar-in-Chief  ‘Lady’ Justice Carr quoted Lord Hoffman approvingly on how:

People who break the law to affirm their belief in the injustice of a law or government action are sometimes vindicated by history. The suffragettes are an example which comes immediately to mind. It is a mark of a civilised community that it can accommodate protests and demonstrations of this kind. But there are conventions which are generally accepted by the law-breakers on one side and the law-enforcers on the other. The protesters behave with a sense of proportion and do not cause excessive damage or inconvenience. And they vouch the sincerity of their beliefs by accepting the penalties imposed by the law. The police and prosecutors, on the other hand, behave with restraint and the magistrates impose sentences which take the conscientious motives of the protesters into account.

This was utter rubbish as often happens when judges quote each other. The level of repression directed against the Suffragettes was enormous and their activities were anything but restrained. The Police attacks on them were brutal. Carr said that:

Palestine Action characterises itself as a non-violent “direct action protest group” which follows in the footsteps of the suffragettes, and the campaigns against apartheid and the Iraq war.

It was not accurate for Ms Ammori to paint Palestine Action as an “ordinary protest group engaged in activities that fall within the well-established tradition of peaceful protest”.

Palestine Action’s activities are planned and undertaken secretly with the objective of avoiding detection ...

Secondly, the members of Palestine Action do not vouch their sincerity by accepting the penalties imposed by the law. Thirdly, on a fair analysis, Palestine Action has little or nothing in common with the suffragettes or the anti-apartheid or Iran War protest groups.

The whole premise of Palestine Action is to cause damage to property belonging to Elbit and other companies trading lawfully in the United Kingdom. (my emphasis)

It is, nonetheless, a fundamental mistake to overlook the fact that Palestine Action overtly promotes unlawful violence amounting to terrorism. It is not, as it claims, a direct action civil disobedience protest group like the suffragettes operating transparently in the open. It is a covert organisation that operates using secret cells to avoid the detection and prosecution of those using violence to destroy the property of third parties. Palestine Action’s activities have caused injury as well as property damage.

Palestine Action was therefore a violent terrorist organisation, operating covertly unlike the genteel folk of the Suffragettes.

Yet the true record of the suffragettes was anything but peaceful. From 1912-14, they openly embarked on a terror campaign, bombing and burning their way across the country. Unsurprisingly the Suffragettes didn’t plan their arson or bombing campaigns in open meetings.

Simon Webb, the Author of The Suffragette Bombers: Britain’s Forgotten Terrorists wrote in a letter to the Guardian that:

Mary Leigh (who) acting with others, poured petrol over the carpets of a crowded theatre, set fire to it and then detonated a bomb. She and the others were later charged with “causing an explosion of a nature likely to endanger life”.... The women were not charged with terrorism as such, because no such offence existed at that time. The bomb explosions in places such as Westminster Abbey could hardly be called anything other than terrorism ... the first terrorist bomb explosion in 20th century Ireland, at Lisburn’s Christ Church Cathedral in August 1914, (it) was the work not of the IRA, but the suffragettes.

Below are just a few examples of the peaceful, ‘transparent’ Suffragettes that Liar Lady Justice Carr referred to:

Attacks on Racecourses and Sports Pavilions

·         Ayr Racecourse (1913): The grandstand at this Scottish racecourse was completely burned to the ground in a dead-of-night arson attack. [1]

Kelso Racecourse: Suffragettes attempted to burn down the grandstand to disrupt racing events. [1

Wimbledon Tennis Club (1913): An arson attempt was made to burn down the main tennis club house. [1] Golf Course Sabotage: Activists poured acid onto greens—notably those frequented by Members of Parliament—to burn "Votes for Women" into the turf. [1, 2]

In 1913 the grandstand of the Manor Ground football stadium in Plumstead was also burned down, costing £1,000 in damages.[36

On 11 April 2012, the cricket pavilion at the Nevill Ground in Royal Tunbridge Wells was destroyed in a suffragette arson attack.[48

Hurst Park Racecourse grandstand and royal boxes were completely destroyed by fire on June 9, 1913. Suffragettes Kitty Marion and Clara Elizabeth Giveen carried out the attack

Bombings and High-Profile Arson

The campaign saw the widespread deployment of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and petrol-fueled fires. [1, 2]

·      David Lloyd George’s House (1913): A bomb exploded at a house under construction for the Chancellor of the Exchequer in Walton-on-the-Hill.

Theatre Royal, Dublin (1912): Suffragettes deployed several bombs and used petrol to set fire to the theatre during a live performance attended by Prime Minister H.H. Asquith.

Westminster Abbey (1914): A bomb was detonated inside the historic abbey, damaging the Coronation Chair.

Kew Gardens Tea Pavilion (1913): The famous tea pavilion was entirely destroyed by arson. Weeks prior, suffragettes smashed orchid houses and destroyed rare plants.

The Home Office (1912): A powerful bomb was discovered and safely defused in Home Secretary Reginald McKenna's office.

Holloway Prison: A bomb was detonated outside the walls of the facility holding imprisoned suffragettes.

Bombs exploded at Edinburgh's Royal Observatory, Rosslyn Chapel, St. Paul's Cathedral, train stations (like Oxted and Westbourne Park), and various public infrastructure sites

Assaults, Vandalism, and Infrastructure Sabotage

Assassination Attempt on the Prime Minister: In July 1912, a suffragette threw a hatchet at Prime Minister Asquith's carriage. It missed him but struck and injured Irish nationalist MP John Redmond. [1, 2, 3, 4

Nationwide Postal Sabotage (1912–1914): Suffragettes launched a systemic campaign targeting public pillar boxes. They poured ink, corrosive acids, and liquid phosphorus into postboxes to destroy mail, occasionally leaving postal workers and police officers with chemical burns. [1, 2, 3]

Art Destruction (1914): Activist Mary Richardson entered the National Gallery and used a meat cleaver to slash Diego Velázquez’s famous painting, the "Rokeby Venus," protesting the re-arrest of Emmeline Pankhurst. [1, 2, 3]

Mass Window Smashing (1912): Hundreds of women concealed hammers in their bags and simultaneously smashed the windows of commercial shops and government buildings across London's West End.

In their attempts to destroy the direction action movement, Judges lie. The Terrorism Act 2000 is built on a series of lies. Lying is an integral part of the system we live in. When Burnham and Starmer say there is no Genocide in Gaza they lie. When the Court of Appeal says that making quadcopters to murder civilians is a ‘lawful business’ they lie. And if the law says child murder is lawful then it is not a law that should be given the time of the day.

Elise Benjamin, the Genocide Denier & Rape Apologist is the Spider at the Centre of the Green Party’s Zionist Caucus

Benjamin, Whose Twitter Feed is a Cesspit of Racism, Finds Allegations of Rape & Torture of Palestinians, a Suitable Subject for her Sick Humour

A battle is going on in the Green Party [GP] between Zionists and anti-Zionists. Between those who want the Party to align itself with Western Imperialism, NATO and the Israeli State and those who are Anti-Racists and Anti-Imperialists.

What happens at the Autumn conference will decide the GP’s direction in the years ahead. Will it simply be a party that seeks to Green Capitalism or a party of anti-capitalism, committed to fundamental change in British society?

Last September Zack Polanski was elected leader of the GP with a vote of 84%, defeating MPs Adrian Ramsay and Ellie Chowns, who represented the Old Deep Green Establishment.

Polanski unlike his opponents was forthright and clear – Israel was committing a Genocide in Gaza. This was a refreshing change from the old Liberal Green Party of Caroline Lucas.

The result was a massive increase in GP membership which more than tripled from 68,000 to over 230,00. Polanski was also helped by Corbyn’s determination to destroy Your Party.

As The Canary noted there was one form of antisemitism that Benjamin could not see and that was genuine, racial anti-Semitism. When a member of the GAA chat raised the Times’ anti-Semitic caricatures of GP leader Zack Polanski – ‘images that evoked the most hateful Nazi‑era stereotypes’ Benjamin’s response was telling: She could not see anything anti-Semitic in the ‘accentuated facial features’.

Almost alone, Benjamin denied that the anti-Semitic cartoon of  The Times was anti-Semitic

The popularity of the GP hit a high of 19% before falling back. The reaction of the The Times, Mail, Sun & Telegraph was predictable. They launched frenzied attacks on Polanski labelling him an anti-Semite and they did it with cartoons and caricatures which were themselves anti-Semitic! The irony was lost on them as today ‘anti-Semitism’ is not about Jews.

The Zionist Board of Deputies was silent about these attacks. They were more interested Polanski’s criticism of Israel. In  the same way as they had remained silent about Boris Johnson’s racist, anti-Semitic novel, 72 Virgins.

Polanski is Jewish. However that was not good enough for the Board of Deputies who, alone of party leaders, they refused to invite to their demonstration against ‘anti-Semitism’. The Board was however more than happy to invite ‘gas ‘em' Farage of Reform who spent his youth tormenting fellow Jewish pupils with chants of ‘Hitler was right’. Farage is a supporter of Israel and Zionism and is therefore kosher.

The media cartoons included all the traditional anti-Semitic caricatures of Jews - big noses, grasping, leering, lecherous features. It was the stuff of Julius Streicher’s Der Sturmer.

Zionists in the GP have organised primarily around Jewish Greens which was founded by Elise Benjamin, a former Oxford City councillor. A new group, Greens Against Anti-Semitism [GAA], a mirror image of Labour Against Anti-Semitism, which led the ‘anti-Semitism’ smear campaign in the Labour Party, also surfaced with Benjamin being at the centre of the Zionist spider web of anti-Semitism allegations.

Despite saying the Jewish Greens should be consulted about a Zionism is Racism motion Benjamin takes great offence at the suggestion that people who work with Jewish groups might want to check out whether they are Zionists and racists before doing so. It's called having your cake and eating it or getting the best of both worlds. As Jews they want a veto over policy opposing Zionism and Israel but take great offence at the idea that Jews have any responsibility for what the Zionists and Israel are doing to the Palestinians.

Benjamin has poured her heart out to the press about ‘anti-Semitism’. She found a ready audience in the Jewish Chronicle. She said of the rise in support for the GP and its influx of new members that “It feels very hollow – almost like a bereavement,” referring to the party’s surge in the polls.

A strange sentiment for someone who was devoted to the GP but then Benjamin’s main concern was defending her beloved ‘Jewish’ State.

Benjamin described how, after being in the GP for more than 30 years, she had ‘bittersweet feelings even as fellow activists anticipate a historic breakthrough in next week’s elections.’

Benjamin was involved in drawing up the party’s guidance on antisemitism, which she describes as comprehensive but with the recent surge in membership she called for an ‘urgent review of how to make our complaints process fit for purpose.’  Anti-Semitism is always wheeled out when Zionism and Israel are under discussion. What she really meant was how best to expel anti-Zionists as anti-Semites.

“What we have is a small but noisy core of people who are very, very loud on just one issue and not interested in, for example, our policies on transport.”

Benjamin compared the language of opponents of Zionism to the far right which amongst other things demonstrates her own ignorance since most of the far right, like Tommy Robinson, love Zionism.

An example of the ‘anti-Semitism’ poor Benjamin had been experiencing was

“where someone has been telling me where my family are from and questioning – in a way that has been quite aggressive – the origins of my DNA and the very basis of how I identify.”

Comparing Israel and Zionism to the Nazis is definitely anti-Semitic and forbidden but comparing Muslims and the Palestinians to Nazis is perfectly fine. Even the word struggle means you are a Nazi because Hitler once used the word!! Hitler was also a teetotaller - are all teetotallers Nazis too!

To some people, using DNA to find out what your identity is, might sound a little bit Nazi-like. Especially when Benjamin used her DNA test to claim that she had the right to colonise Palestine. How dare anyone question the fact that maybe her antecedents were European not Palestinian?

The Guardian was one of the major papers behind the false anti-Semitism campaign in the Labour Party. Toying with chance of rerunning that playbook they noted the problem that

Polanski’s mandate from members was so clear when he defeated Adrian Ramsay and Ellie Chowns – two of the party’s four MPs – by 20,411 to 3,705 votes in a ballot of party members.

If Elise Benjamin wasn't such a fool she would know that Hitler too sought to equate opposing movements such as socialism and capitalism as equivalent - both controlled by Jews - there is no idiot like a Zionist idiot. This was the basis of  the World Jewish Conspiracy theory.

But despite the unwillingness of Green MPs to comment, the Guardian was able to uncover ‘some glimpses of dissent, albeit cryptic’ when a Norfolk Green councillor quit in March – launching an attack on Polanski’s focus on Palestine, and claiming he was speaking as one of “a very significant number of older, deeper Greens who are looking on in horror”. Adrian Ramsay ventured that he was “deeply sorry”.

“As a party we must adopt a strategy which unites long-term members & new supporters behind our core values,”

whilst omitting to tell people what those core values might be.

Just because a religion places Jerusalem at its centre doesn't mean that all its adherents are 'indigenous' - Christians and Muslims could also make the same claim. A religious attachment doesn't give you the right to expel those who actually live there

Benjamin loses no opportunity to try and pretend that it is not the Palestinians but Jews who are indigenous to Palestine.

Benjamin’s Twitter feed is a racist cesspit. She describes herself as an ‘indigenous Judean’, thus justifying the right of settlers to steal the land of Palestinians in the West Bank, which they call Judea and Samaria. She appears to believe that her DNA entitles her to rights in Palestine.

Nothing interests her like historical proof of ancient Jewish states, which in reality were city states at best. But even if they were fully fledged states in the sense we understand them today, that still wouldn’t give Benjamin the right to go to Palestine and steal someone else’s home.

Benjamin like most Zionists tries to have her cake and eat it. In Yiddish this is called a chutzpah. On the one hand Jews should be consulted at every stage before Palestinians suffering can be acknowledged let alone opposed. Yet on the other hand she resents Gay groups demanding that Jewish groups make their anti-Zionism clear. She resents that Zionists are no longer welcome in the progressive movement.

In a podcast titled Resistance to Antisemitism in the UK GP by David Hirsh’s London Centre of Contemporary Anti-Semitism, a Zionist propaganda body, Benjamin had a dialogue with Yvonne Maxwell, a former Labour councillor.

In a series of excerpts Benjamin called the GP’s Deputy Leader, Mothin Ali, an anti-Semite and said that ‘if I'm in the same room as him, I walk out now because that's all I can do.’ (43.04)

On the GP winning a parliamentary by-election, she said ‘I'm just not able to celebrate because it feels hollow.’ (1:00:55) and went on to say ‘it feels a bit like an amputation in a way.... it is a very it's a very hollow win for me.’ (1:01:14).’

'Lyin' Laura Eccott - co-chair of the GPC

Benjamin’s emoting was no surprise because for Zionists loyalty to their racist state surpasses their commitment to anything else. All of these are grounds for Benjamin’s expulsion but she is being protected by members of the GP Council and its co-chair, ‘lyin’ Laura Eccott.

Benjamin called supporters of the Palestinians and anti-Zionists in the GP ‘racist cranks’, a case of self-projection.

Benjamin justifies and excuses Israel’s rape, torture and violence against the Sumud Flotilla members. She does this by retweeting Zionist propagandist Daniel Sugarman who refers to Israel’s ‘brief detention’ of the flotilla members without mentioning the torture, rape and extreme violence used against them.

Israel, from the start of its attack on Gaza, created a false atrocity propaganda narrative as a way of justifying the genocide. Instead of October 7 being an attempt to capture Israeli hostages in order to exchange them for thousands of Palestinian hostages, it was portrayed as a second holocaust.

And according to Benjamin there is no genocide because it is a war. A war on thousands of babies and children.

The first example of atrocity propaganda was the 40 beheaded babies hoax that came from Netanyahu’s office. Israel’s Social Security Institute documented that just one Israeli baby, Mila Cohen, was killed and that was accidentally.

Benjamin repeats stories which have been debunked such as the Israeli woman who had a breast cut off which Hamas militants then played football with.

Benjamin quotes uncritically the far-right Andrew Fox of the Islamophobic Henry Jackson Society.

The Zionists went to town on the fictional mass rapes. They too have now been discredited but racists like Benjamin are still running with these stories.

Benjamin loves portraying Israeli casualties of October 7 but not the thousands of dead Palestinians. Liel Hetzroni from Kibbuts Be'eri was not burned by Hamas but the IDF. General Hiram ordered Israeli tanks to shell houses with Israeli captives inside in order to kill their captors. They also killed the captives by putting into operation the Hannibal Directive.

This follows a well worn colonial narrative, that the natives are savage sexual predators. In The Southern Rape and Lynching Complex Amy Phillips writes thatthe justification typically proffered (for lynching a man) was that the victim had raped a white woman.’ This is exactly what Benjamin is doing, providing a justification for Israel’s very real rape of Palestinian men and women.

When the first Israeli hostage, Yocheved Lifshitz was released she turned to grip the hand of her Hamas captor and said ‘shalom’ (peace). When asked why at a press conference Lifshitz said that after initial violence her Hamas captors had shown “care” and “gentleness”.

This was seen as a public relations disaster. The worker who arranged the press conference, Avi Shoshan, was placed on forced leave and forced to resign or face dismissal. Since then Israel has ensured that no one who is released is able to speak freely about their actual experiences or not without difficult. The truth is irrelevant to these people. Everything is propaganda.

Benjamin is particularly obsessed with the Nova festival that was taking place near the Gaza fence. Except that the majority of the festival goers were killed by Israeli Apache helicopters that ‘emptied their bellies’ and then returned to base to reload with ammunition. Ha'aretz reported that:

According to a police source, an investigation of the incident also shows that an IDF fighter helicopter that arrived at the scene from the Ramat David base fired at the terrorists and apparently also hit some of the celebrants who were at the scene.

Because Ha'aretz had printed the truth, Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi proposed that the government end its advertisements in Ha'aretz.

Defense minister confirms army orders to kill Israelis on 7 October

Yet we know from the Israeli Southern District Prosecutor Moran Gaz, who was responsible for handling sexual offenses that there would be no rape prosecutions because there were no victims. Gaz stated that:

“Unfortunately, it will be very difficult to prove these crimes. In the end, we don’t have complainants. What was reported in the media compared to what will ultimately be established will look very different—either because the victims were murdered or because women who were raped are unwilling to come forward.

“We reached out to women’s rights organizations and requested cooperation. They told us no one had contacted them. ...

“In this area, I would temper expectations. I know the public is expecting action and understands the need to address the horrific sexual offenses and assaults that occurred, but the vast majority of these cases won’t meet the evidentiary threshold in court, and the criticism will ultimately fall on the prosecution.”

Throughout Gaz assumed that there were rapes but by her own admission there was no proof that they ever occurred..

Benjamin’s focus on the 300 Israelis who died at Nova contrasts sharply with the fact that she has nothing whatever to say about the genocide in Gaza. Not one word or retweet about the deliberate shooting of Palestinian children by Israeli soldiers or the burying alive of Palestinian children witnessed by American Jewish Dr Perlmutter.

Dr Mark Perlmutter witnessed burying alive of children

The most important boost to the rape narrative was the New York Times article Screams Without Words. It was almost immediately discredited by the Intercept, Electronic Intifada and other outlets. Even the NYT’s flagship Daily podcast refused to carry the story.

For example a spokesman for Kibbutz Be’eri specifically denied that 3 women who were killed there had been raped, as alleged by the NYT. Gail Abdush, the ‘woman in Black’ was also alleged by the NYT to have been raped. Her family denied this.

Elise Benjamin’s Racist Rant

The video above consists of the highlights of Benjamin’s racist conversation. Below are the times they occur. It is clear that Benjamin is a Genocide denier and a genocide justifier. The question is whether Zack Polanski is going to live up to his promise to exclude genocide deniers from the GP.

8.15  Benjamin refers to the ‘terrible appalling’ views of Mothin Ali – she agrees he is anti-Semitic and that she will walk out of a room if he is there

9.10  Benjamin refers to the attack of Mothin and others on the Leeds Rabbi - she doesn't mention the Rabbi went to Gaza to kill Palestinians as part of the IDF

10.06  A Tory Zionist complains that all the Zionists he knows are on the right and he wants Zionists to be on all wings of the political spectrum!  It's strange that people on the left are no longer enamoured with an apartheid genocidal state!

11.36 - Recent Green victories leave Benjamin with a hollow feeling. She can't feel good over them given how the GP is developing.

13.30  Benjamin lets slip that she is on the National Committee of the Friends of Standing Together which is confirmation that they are a normalisation group and Zionist.

14.30 Benjamin’s attack on Lubna Speitan for speaking at the Al Quds rally doesn't mention what she said. It's McCarthyist guilt by association.

18.50  The worst give away is when she says of Noam Chomsky 'I feel like he is a traitor'

Who is he a traitor to? Obviously the Jews. It is no different from the National Front calling us race traitors. We are traitors to our racial kith and kin because being loyal to 'the Jews' is more important than universal values. This marks Benjamin out as a racist like nothing else does.

Israel’s VILEST Crime Yet - The Evidence Is Overwhelming

Benjamin’s enthusiasm for making false allegations about Palestinian rape is in contrast to her attempts to deny that Israel has raped Palestinian prisoners despite the fact that a mass rape was caught on video in Sdei Teiman. The rapists then went on Israel’s Channel 14 to boast of their exploits.

Military Advocate General, Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, who leaked the video of the rape was forced to resign. She was then prosecuted whereas the rapists were readmitted to the IDF. Netanyahu called the whole episode a ‘blood libel’.

Benjamin makes sick ‘jokes’ about the sexual torture of Palestinian prisoners who have been subject to rape by dogs, and completely ignores the copious evidence of the UN Report about Israel’s use of Sexual Torture and Gender-Based Violence.

The Zionists argue that it is impossible to train dogs to rape human beings. However Palestinians say they have been raped. Who should we believe? They are unlikely to make such allegations, given the shame involved, if it were not true. There have been repeated allegations of dog rape.

As Nicholas Kristof’s article in the NYT The Silence That Meets the Rape of Palestinians proved rape by dogs can happen and is happening. Kristoff took evidence from 14 Palestinians who had been raped and subject to sexual torture. But for Benjamin it’s a joke.

The rape of human beings also happened in Chile under General Pinochet. Ingrid Olderöck, an open Nazi, was a major in the Chilean secret police DINA. Known as the Woman of the Dogs she trained dogs to rape prisoners.

The evidence of those tortured should not be questioned. An article from India Today settles the question. It is clearly possible to train a dog to rape a human being but Benjamin prefers sick jokes to criticising her beloved ‘Jewish’ state. However when it comes to Israeli allegations of rape by Palestinians Benjamin is all ears.

Benjamin is at the centre of GAA, which organised the filibustering of the Zionism is Racism motion at the Spring Conference, as The Canary showed. Benjamin’s messages

lay bare a strategy of procedural sabotage, smear‑by‑accusation, cynical weaponisation of antisemitism, an apparent closeness to UK Lawyers For Israel and even genocide denial:

The messages, which date from the months leading up to Spring Conference, show Benjamin... Craig – actively plotting to derail the motion Zionism Is Racism, a motion that would formally commit the GP to an anti‑Zionist position:

Even Zack Polanski is an antisemite

The leaked conversations also show Benjamin reaching for the label ‘antisemite’ with a promiscuity that makes a mockery of genuine anti‑racism. The list of her targets, named directly in the chat, included:

§  The Canary.

§  Jewish anti‑Zionist campaigner Tony Greenstein.

§  GP councillor and YouTuber Kernow Damo.

§  Anti‑racist social media account Bladeofthesun.

§  American streamers Hasan Piker and Cenk Uyghur.

§  The Palestine Solidarity Campaign and its former director Ben Jamal.

§  Rapper and activist Lowkey.

§  Zack Polanski.

The Jewish Chronicle has played its part in all of this. As Alan Rusbridger wrote it is a paper which refuses to disclose who actually owns it.

The latest victim of the JC is Adam Morgan, a Green councillor. His offence? Comparing Israel to Nazi Germany. The Jewish Chronicle asserted that

According to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of anti-Semitism... comparing Israeli policy to that of the Nazis is an explicit example of contemporary Jew-hate.

This is precisely why the IHRA, which conflates anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism and which renders Palestinians invisible, is not fit for purpose. The Young Green conference has just voted to replace the IHRA with guidance informed by Jewish anti-Zionist and anti-racist scholarship.

The motion stated that the IHRA:

is unfit for purpose and should not be reinstated: it cites politically loaded authorities as neutral scholars, frames anti-Zionism as presumptively suspicious, presents a definition of Zionism that makes no mention of the Palestinian Nakba, explicitly instructs disciplinary bodies to use it, and is now out of date with Green Party policy on Gaza.

There is no war crime that Benjamin isn’t capable of defending. Destruction of hospitals, torture, rape. You name it and she will happily blame Hamas but never blame Israel for its perpetration of mass war crimes.

Benjamin may not be concerned about Genocide in Gaza but when it comes to BDS she is very concerned that Palestinians will be put out of work! No matter that Israel is barring nearly all Palestinians from working in Israel. This is what defenders of Apartheid said 40 years ago when opposing the Boycott of South Africa. Benjamin cannot but help replay the best tunes of the Apartheid defenders.

The allegation that Hamas was based in Gaza's hospitals is totally unfounded and not backed by any medical charities, doctors or the UN - this is a justification for the destruction of all Gaza's hospitals and health sector - it is Genocide Justification and in itself should result in Benjamin's expulsion from the Green Party

Indeed 90 years ago when most Jews were boycotting Nazi Germany opponents of the Boycott, who were mainly Zionists, said it would hurt the Jews of Germany and proscription provoke the Nazis into retaliating against them.

Benjamin, whilst decrying all ‘conspiracy theories’ isn’t afraid to invent a few herself. Apparently Palestine Solidarity Campaign had advance warning of October 7 which is why they held a demonstration on that day!

But if she doesn’t like PSC then Benjamin loves the far-right UK Lawyers for Israel who protested vigorously when Starmer cut the amount of arms we were sending to kill Palestinians by about 8%.

Benjamin did however defend the openly far-right Zionist group Our Fight when its use of Union Jack imagery was questioned. As The Canary observed:

Our Fight is a hardline organisation directed by former Spiked columnist Mark Birbeck. It deploys militaristic, British‑fascist aesthetics redolent of Britain First and the EDL, as well as organising delegations of non‑Jewish supporters to travel to the Zionist entity in occupied Palestine.

British fascist organisations have traditionally spread their message by marching with Union Jacks. But for Benjamin the Union Jack, or the Butcher’s Apron is ‘our flag’.

As the attacks on Palestine solidarity supporters have grown in the past three years, with Police attacking demonstrations and arresting activists, Benjamin has given full support to the allegations which Suella Braverman originally made, that demonstrations against genocide are ‘hate marches.’

As these X posts show Elise Benjamin is a hard-core racist Zionist. She may still pretend to be a liberal Zionist but scratch a liberal Zionist and the racism just pours out.

Benjamin subscribes to the fiction that Palestinians living in Israel are equal citizens whereas this is an egregious lie. Adalah, the Legal Centre of Israeli Arabs, has documented over 65 Israeli laws discriminating against Arab Israelis. The Jewish Nation State Law explicitly states that only Israeli Jews have the right to self-determination in Israel. Netanyahu proclaims that Israel is a state of its Jewish citizens not all citizens yet Benjamin still subscribes to this racist myth.

For example Arabs are barred from 93% of Israeli state land. Over half the Arab villages in the Negev are therefore ‘unrecognised’ because they are seen as squatting on State i.e. Jewish State land. No Jewish settlement would be so described. The result of this is a continuing spate of demolition of Arab villages as the inhabitants are shunted into shanty towns.

Adalah which represented the villagers of Umm al Hiran in the Negev stated:

Adalah sees the demolition of Umm al-Hiran and forced displacement of its residents as an act of extreme racism, embodying Israel's colonialist land policies with the backing of the entire Israeli court system. Israel is moving forward with the destruction of Umm al-Hiran in a plan – reminiscent of the darkest of regimes such as apartheid-era South Africa – to build a new Jewish-only town on its ruins.

Benjamin is an ethnic cleansing denier. She seizes on anything, however untrue, which purports to ‘disprove’ the Nakba, the forcible expulsion of ¾ million Palestinian refugees in 1948. Even though this is documented by Israeli historians and even though Israel’s authorities have gone to extensive lengths to ensure that Israeli archives of the period remain closed she clings to Nakba Denial.

Anyone reading Adam Raz’s article in Ha'aretz, ‘Terror Was Needed to Make Arabs Leave' - What the Israeli Army Did in 1948, Revealed’ can have no doubt about the Nakba, which is now being repeated in Gaza. For Benjamin to dispute what historians like Ilan Pappe and Benny Morris say puts here in the same category as a holocaust denier.

One thing Benjamin loves though is tame Arab collaborators. This is no surprise. During the holocaust the Zionist movement provided 2/3 of the collaborators who worked for the Nazi appointed Jewish Councils in Europe. according to Isaiah Trunk’s Judenrat.

And if all else fails then Benjamin indulges in a little whataboutery. Why are you always talking about Israel’s genocide when there are other genocides.

It will be interesting to see if the GP Council sees anything amiss in the racism of Elise Benjamin. Perhaps GP members should start filing complaints to see how Lying Laura Eccott wriggles out of imposing a 4.8   Suspension. See
