It is my sad duty to inform people that my old friend, Jonathan Hoffman was today, with another Zionist thug, Damon Lenzner, convicted of harassment and threatening behaviour.

I had intended to attend court tomorrow as two days had been set aside for the hearing but it would seem the pair decided that cowardice was the better part of valour as they agreed to plead guilty to the lesser charges in exchange for the CPS dropping the assault charges. Or maybe they had advance warning that I would be making an appearance!

They were both fined, sentenced to community and restraining orders. Lenzner was subject to a curfew and an electronic tag. They were also barred from approaching Sandra Watfa, the woman they harassed or Mr Haverty-Stacke, whom Lenzner punched. Judge Nigel Dean, said the pair’s actions amounted to “aggressive, bullying behavior.” Clearly he is a man who believes in understatement. It is a sad comedown for Hoffman who used to be Vice-Chair of the Zionist Federation and a senior member of the Board of Deputies of British Jews and its Defence Committee.

However Hoffman made the mistake of falling out with just about everyone and in particular criticising Mick Davies, Chair of the Jewish Leadership Council, a rich capitalist and now Treasure of the Tory Party. Everyone who made, even the mildest criticism of Israel was an anti-Semite, including most of the Board of Deputies!

Asa Winstanley writes that ‘One supporter was absent though: former Jewish Labour Movement chair Jeremy Newmark. Writing sympathetically on a thread on Hoffman’s Facebook page in March, Newmark called the case “appalling.”

You might find this surprising since Hoffman is someone who has worked openly with the far-Right – Tommy Robinson supporters and Britain First’s Paul Besser as well as Pegida supporters Ambrosine Shitrit and Sharon KKKKlaff and Kahanist David Collier.  Newmark is a Labour Zionist.

However this is not so surprising. The differences between Labour and fascist Zionists have always been tactical.  Hoffman went out on a limb to defend Newmark when the Jewish Chronicle accused him of corruption and trousering thousands of pounds from a Zionist ‘charity’, the Jewish Leadership Council.

Suffice to say I have enormous sympathy for Newmark because the money would otherwise have gone into anti-BDS activity so it’s probably best that it went on champagne, taxi bills (unpaid) and good meals (kosher one hopes).

Hoffman on his blog today was unrepentant. He claimed that he and Lenzner had been acquitted of the assault charges.  This is a lie. The CPS had agreed to drop the charges in exchange for them pleading guilty to lesser charges.   However what is one small lie amongst many? Hoffman ranted that:

appallingly, the policeman on the case insisted that the case be tried as a racial and religious hatred case (Section 145, Criminal Justice Act).  In other words according to him we were there not because we found the antisemitic discourse of InMinds repugnant, but because we are Islamophobes.  What a disgrace:  the Court ignored it.

The message from this verdict is that neither pro-Israel advocates nor campaigners against antisemitism can trust the police or the CPS.

Hoffman finds it difficult to believe that his behaviour is Islamaphobic and probably believes that his fascist friends are also lovers of Muslims.

When he was first informed that he was going to be prosecuted Hoffman accused the Crown Prosecution Service and the Police of ‘institutional anti-Semitism’ (in fact he called the CPS ‘institutionally anti-Israel but since all opposition to Israel in Hoffman’s book is ‘anti-Semitism’ then that is what he really meant).

One thing that seems to have escaped all other reporting of the case is that Daman Lenzner’s representative is Daniel Berke. By one of these coincidences that plague those of us in public life, Berke is also the solicitor to Tommy Robinson.  I guess it’s a question of Berke by name and Berk by nature!

However Hopkins has managed to excel herself with her latest tweet justifying Robert Bowers, the murderer of 11 Jews at Pittsburgh. In his last message Bowers tweeted ‘HIAS likes to bring invaders in that kill our people. I can’t sit by and watch our people get slaughtered. Screw your optics I’m going in.’ HIAS being the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society. Hopkins tweeted:

‘Watching the pin-the-blame on the donkey after #PittsburghSynagogue. Gab. Trump. White Supremacists. The Media. Muslims. Look to the Chief Rabbi and his support for mass migration across the Med. There you will find your truths.” #Pittsburg

It’s not clear which Chief Rabbi she is talking about. Britain’s Chief Rabbi, the hapless Ephraim Mirvis, has never supported mass migration, but it is a useful myth. The Chief Rabbi is a metonym for Jews. In other words the Jews are responsible for the refugees which Trump railed against in the recent Congressional election campaign.

The Jewish Chronicle engaged in some synthetic outrage Katie Hopkins condemned for blaming Pittsburgh Tree of Life synagogue shooting on 'Chief Rabbi's support for mass migration, but they carefully refrained from publicising her support for Israel.

It is a favourite theme of the neo-Nazi Right that the ‘problem’ of refugees is the ‘fault’ of the Jews. It would seem that Katie Hopkins, who spends increasing time in the company of the far-Right, has adopted this meme. '

Katie Hopkins is however a consistent bigot.  She may be the highest profile racist in Britain today, apart from her good friend Tommy Robinson, but she is also a sincere and dedicated Zionist.

As thousands of refugees were drowning in the Mediterranean, as they tried to flee civil war and famine in Africa, Katie Hopkins, took a pride in demonstrating how ‘tough’ she was.  One of her most infamous quotes was

UN high commissioner for human rights, Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, pointed out that the term “cockroaches” was used by both the Nazis and those behind the genocide in Rwanda. In the Sun she wrote

Hopkins joined the C-Star in Sicily, which had been crowd funded by the fascists, whose purpose it was to prevent the rescue of drowning refugees. Ironically the fascist ship broke down and had to be rescued by the German ship Sea Eye which was there to rescue refugees! It was whilst meeting the group Defend Europe in Sicily that she posed for photographs with Peter Sweden, who is a holocaust denier. Sweden tweeted that

It must be distressing for Zyl, who fully supports the equally bigoted policy of Israeli Ministers when it comes to refugees.

After all it wasn’t all that long ago when Katie Hopkins was an honoured guest at the annual dinner and dance of the Zionist Federation.  And who could possibly object to her presence when Israeli Minister Gideon Saar was the guest speaker?  Saar even had the chutzpah to claim that Israel didn’t deport asylum seekers.  Even as dedicated a Zionist as Rabbi Lea Mühlstein was walked out. The Jewish Chronicle claimed that the dinner was ‘marred by the heckling of Gideon Sa’ar'. Katie tweeted

“Lovely to spend time with friends & supporters @ZionistFed celebrating 70 years of Israeli Independence. Go Bibi. Go Israel”

Katie seems to have had a wonderful time having her photo taken with fans and of course the chief ghoul himself, Mark Regev.

This provoked Daniel Sugarman, a hack journalist to complain that Katie Hopkin’s presence at the Zionist Federation’s Gala Dinner was akin to a pork chop at a Friday Night Dinner. Most unfair to pigs. Katie Hopkins, Tommy Robinson, and why Israel needs to up its media game. Daniel ran through some of Katie’s more unsavoury comments on “cockroaches”, the need for a “final solution” and her letter “dear black people: if your lives matter, why do you shoot and stab each other so much?”

All of the above is true of course but how is this different from referring to African refugees as a ‘cancer’.?  This is exactly what Miri Regev, Israel’s Minister of ‘Culture’ (as in Goebbels) did.  Admittedly Regev apologised for using the term – that is she apologised to cancer patients for having compared them to refugees. An Opinion Poll conducted by the Israeli Democracy Institute found 52% of Israelis supported her comments, and 33% supported violence against refugees. The moral of the story is that Katie should emigrate to Israel where she can convert to membership of the Jewish race and can then join the Israeli government. Sugarman found it

Katie had tweeted about how she had “pencilled him in” (Mark Regev) as her fourth husband.  Clearly it would be a match made in hell. But Sugarman is being a hypocrite. There is nothing that Katie said that has not been said every day by Israeli politicians. 

For those interested there is a fascinating interview in the November 2018 edition of the Israel Today magazine with Katie Hopkins which informs us that she is ‘one of the few willing to speak truth to ills in our societies, irrespective of the consequences of doing so’.

‘Kedar is famous for his advocacy of rape against Palestinian women as a weapon of war.  Israel’s Ha'aretz newspaper in an article Israeli Professor's 'Rape as Terror Deterrent' Statement Draws Ire quoted him as saying that:  ‘'The only thing that deters a suicide bomber is the knowledge that if he pulls the trigger or blows himself up, his sister will be raped'. (22.7.14.). 

Brighton and Hove Palestine Solidarity Campaign held a demonstration outside the meeting.  Many Jewish venues, including schools and synagogues, such as Finchley, cancelled their meetings when Kedar’s comments became known.  Even the Board of Deputies of British Jews dissociated themselves from Kedar but not Ralli Hall, which was quite happy for the rally to go ahead.

I have therefore written to their Manager, Maxine Gordon as to why they prefer advocates of rape to critics of Israel.  A letter from 8 members of PSC, including myself, appeared in today’s Argus newspaper.  Ralli Hall has a lot of questions to ask.

I have also written a second letter to those in control of  Ralli Hall.  I won’t be holding my breath waiting for a reply.

Dear Ralli Hall,

You appear to have ignored the message that I sent you conerning your double standards when it comes to false allegations of anti-Semitism and allowing, Mordechai Kedar, an advocate of rape in war, to speak at Ralli Hall. 

According to the Argus your Manager Maxine Gordon said that she 'no choice' but to cancel a meeting of Hove Labour Party because of 'contentious statements made by Rebecca Massey on social media about Israel and Judaism.'

Clearly Ms Gordon hasn't heard of free speech.  Calling out Israel's racism is a matter of fact and is only 'contentious' in the eyes of those who prefer to turn a blind eye to Israeli atrocities, i.e. apologists for Israeli war crimes. I won't bother to enumerate such minor matters as the making of an Israeli hero out of the cold-blooded murderer Elor Azaria or the recent demolition of a Bedouin village Umm al-Hiran in the Negev to make way for the Jewish town of Hiran.

In The Times in the 1930's under Editor Geoffrey Dawson The Times forbade any mention of German anti-semitism during the pre-war years when the Nazi Party ruled Germany.  Criticism of the Nazis was also 'contentious' so Ms Gordon is in good company.

Perhaps you can tell me why it was 'appropriate' for Kedar who said that '“The only thing that can deter terrorists, like those who kidnapped the children and killed them, is the knowledge that their sister or their mother will be raped.”  to speak at Ralli Hall?

The only conclusion that can be drawn is that you find support for rape in war less objectionable than criticism of Israel's war cimes.  I hope you found our letter concerning this to your liking in yesterday's Argus!  I attach a copy.

I can remember the demonstration well, because I was in the throes of advanced liver disease.  However I was determined to turn out on a bitterly cold evening to protest at the Sussex Friends of Israel/Zionist Federation meeting being held there.  The speaker was Mordechai Kedar, Professor at Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, a racist religious institution.  Kedar was a retired colonel in the Israeli Occupation Forces.

Kedar had an unusual theory.  As I reported at the time 'The statement by Kedar that the mothers or sisters of ‘terrorists’ should be raped breaks new ground, even for the religious Orthodox.'

On Friday, the far-Right Zionist group, the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism posted a nasty little article accusing Becky Massey, a member of the Labour Party and Palestine Solidarity Campaign of anti-Semitism.  'Anti-Semitism' is the normal Zionist accusation directed against supporters of the Palestinians so nothing new there.

What makes this different is that the  owners of Ralli  Hall cancelled the pre-booked AGM of Hove Labour Party on the basis of the CAA's scurrilous and lying little article.  They took it upon themselves to support the allegations in the article without having any way of knowing whether or not the accusations in it were true or not.

So we can only conclude that the Zionists who run Ralli Hall are quite happy with the idea that the sisters or  mothers or wives of men who are accused of 'terrorism' should be raped, but are unhappy with someone who is falsely accused of anti-Semitism.  Perhaps they think that this has some biblical justification, since Zionists usually resort to the Bible to justify most of Israel's abominations.

Even the Zionist Federation cancelled Kedar's meetings in schools and Finchley synagogue abruptly cancelled Kedar's meeting when it heard about his views on rape and war.  However the good Zionists of Ralli Hall were made of sterner stuff.  They couldn't see anything wrong with the idea of raping women in war, despite approaches which were made to them at the time.

But when a false accusation of 'anti-Semitism' is made against someone on the basis of their views on Israel then the meeting of the Labour Party is banned because she will be in attendance.  No allegation was made that Becky had made any derogatory remarks about Jews as individuals but that Israel had an unhealthy influence on British and American foreign policy - something confirmed by the recent programmes 'The Lobby' on Al Jazeera.  You can read the details of what Becky is alleged to have done and the background to it here
