The Green Party Is the First Major Political Party in Europe, to tell the truth about Zionism – That it is a Racist, Genocidal, Ethnic Cleansing Ideology

My Question to Caroline Lucas and the Green MPs is simple: ‘How many more Palestinian men, women and children have to die before you accept that Zionism is Racist & Must Go? 6 million?’

On October 4, the 90th anniversary of the great anti-fascist victory at the Battle of Cable Street, the Green Party became the first mainstream European party to officially become an anti-Zionist party. The symbolism is significant.

The Jewish Chronicle, then a Zionist newspaper and the Board of Deputies did their best to stop Jews taking part in the Battle of Cable Street - There has been no change in the past 90 years

In 1936 the combined forces of anti-fascism confronted the attempt by the Metropolitan Police to force thousands of fascists through the Jewish East End. Up to 300,000 anti-fascists defied the advice of the Board of Deputies, the Zionists and the Jewish Chronicle and took to the streets. Most of the demonstrators were non-Jewish.

On October 4, 2026 the Green Party Conference declared that a genocidally racist state, whose policies towards the Palestinians resemble those of Nazi Germany towards the Jews, was illegitimate. The Conference went on to brand Zionism, today’s equivalent of Nazism, as racist.

The Daily Mail, a paper that supported Hitler in the 1930s, branded the Green Party the ‘the first openly anti-Semitic party in the UK.’ In fact that accolade went to Sir Oswald Moseley’s British Union of Fascists, which added ‘and National Socialists’ to its title in 1936.  And who supported the BUF?  Why none other than the Daily Mail with its infamous headline ‘Hurrah for the Blackshirts.’

Nothing was more fitting than the fact that Stephen Kapos, a child survivor of the Hungarian holocaust, spoke in favour of the Zionism is Racism motion at Green Party conference.

And nothing demonstrated the contempt that Zionists have for the Jewish dead of the Holocaust than the decision of Elise Benjamin, the Green Party’s most notorious racist Zionist, than to turn her voting card into a Yellow Star.

Benjamin claims that because her relatives died in the Holocaust she has the right to abuse their memory and trample over the memory of those who were murdered by the Nazis.

Most British Jews have lost family members in the Holocaust but that does not entitle Benjamin to pretend that she is a holocaust victim. She knows nothing of the torments that those who were forced to wear yellow stars underwent.

Benjamin’s pathetic self-victimisation should result in her expulsion from the GP for what is genuine anti-Semitism.

Benjamin was using the extreme persecution of Jews in Europe in order to justify her support for Zionism and the Israeli state which rapes Palestinians to death, tortures its doctors and starves to death Palestinian children. An Israel which prevents the importation of anaesthetics because of a sadistic joy it takes in making children experience amputations without pain relief.

Benjamin represents Zionism’s contempt for those who died in the Holocaust. Zionism has a long history of doing this. The Prosecutor in the Eichmann Trial, Gideon Hausner, suggested in his questioning of survivors that those who were exterminated had gone like sheep to the slaughter.

Jewish holocaust survivors like Stephen Kapos, who spoke in the debate, Suzanne Weiss, Hedy Epstein, Hajo Meyer and Agnes Kory have often been the first to call attention to the similarities between Israel and Nazi Germany.

Shlomo Shmelzman, a survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto, went on hunger strike protesting against the Lebanon War. He said:

In my childhood I have suffered fear, hunger and humiliation when I passed from the Warsaw Ghetto, through labor camps, to Buchenwald. Today, as a citizen of Israel, I cannot accept the systematic destruction of cities, towns, and refugee camps… I hear too many familiar sounds today…. I hear “dirty Arabs” and I remember “dirty Jews.” I hear about “closed areas” and I remember ghettos and camps. I hear “two-legged beasts” and I remember “Untermenschen.”… Too many things in Israel remind me of too many things from my childhood.

The Zionist movement has exploited the memory of the holocaust dead in order to justify their Apartheid ‘Jewish’ state. That was why I wrote:  Zionism During the Holocaust.

If the Zionist movement had been sincere in remembering the Jewish dead of the Holocaust it would have drawn universal lessons such as the need to fight racism and fascism. The Holocaust serves one purpose for Zionism, to justify their settler colonial state. That is why Zionism rejects any analysis of Nazism that locates it in the context of fascism, eugenics, racial imperialism or German settler colonialism. It would be like condemning themselves.

Gideon Levy wrote:

I have yet to hear a single teenager come back from Auschwitz and say that we mustn’t abuse others the way we were abused. There has yet to be a school whose pupils came back from Birkenau straight to the Gaza border, saw the barbed-wire fence and said, Never again. The message is always the opposite. Gaza is permitted because of Auschwitz. (Ha'aretz, 2.5.19)

The Zionist movement hates comparisons between other genocides and the Holocaust. If the holocaust is sui generis, then it has no lessons to teach us apart from acting as a justification for Israeli Apartheid.

It is why the empty headed holocaust monger Karen Pollock, from the misnamed Holocaust Educational Trust, whined that ‘modern-day protests on a range of issues, including Gaza, are “trivialising” the Holocaust.’

Karen Pollock believes comparisons between the Genocide of Palestinians and the Holocaust 'distorts' the memory of the Nazis' victims - far better to use that memory to justify the burning alive of children with their mothers

When the Los Angeles Holocaust Museum posted a message on Instagram, the first slide featured a drawing of a hexagon formed by six linked arms - with the words ‘Never Again’ Can’t Only Mean Never Again For Jews.’ There was a furious response from Zionists. The message was interpreted as referring to the Gaza Genocide. One commentator wrote that

This post is beyond disgraceful. Whoever created, approved, and posted this should be ashamed of themselves.

Two days later, the museum deleted the post and published an apology. The LAHM wasn’t alone. Every single holocaust institution in the world has refused to condemn the Gaza genocide or compare Israel’s actions to those of the Nazis.

When 50 holocaust researchers asked Yad Vashem, Israel’s holocaust museum, to condemn the genocidal statements made by Israeli politicians, its Chair Dani Dayan refused.

Dayan asserted that the IDF was not conducting a genocide but was acting ‘within the constraints Hamas imposes on us to comply with the proper moral standards and the laws of war.’

Dayan was Secretary-General of the fascist anti-Arab Tehiya party, and its candidate to the Knesset in the Israeli elections in 1988 and 1992. Clearly Dayan is ideally suited to run Yad Vashem!

During the Holocaust Zionism did its best to ignore the plight of Jews in Europe while opposing attempts to rescue Jews from the Nazis if their destination was not Palestine. As Yechiam Weitz wrote:

‘(Ben-Gurion) did not believe in solving the problem by transferring of refugees to various countries: the only possible solution would be Palestine.

When Britain offered in 1938/9 to admit 10,000 German Jewish children to Britain, the Kindertransport, the Zionists opposed it because they weren’t going to Palestine. In a speech to Mapai’s Central Committee on 9 December 1938 Ben-Gurion explained why they opposed the Kindertransport:

If I knew that it would be possible to save all the children in Germany by bringing them over to England, and only half of them by transporting them to Eretz Yisrael, then I would opt for the second alternative. For we must weigh not only the life of these children, but also the history of the People of Israel.

The Racist & Reactionary Opportunism of the Green MPs

The Zionism is Racism motion faced nauseating opposition from senior figures in the Green Party, like Ellie Chowns, Adrian Ramsey, Caroline Lucas, Sian Berry and Carla Denyer. They told us how they were nuanced and it was all too complicated for us simpletons to understand.

Ramsey insisted the motion doesn’t reflect Green principles. Presumably his Green principles include supporting Apartheid, Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing, because that is what Zionism is fundamentally about.

Denyer  explained her opposition to the motion because it risked ‘alienating a significant proportion of Jewish people.’

What if there had been a few hundred thousand White South Africans in Britain 40 years ago. Would Denyer have made the same argument about Apartheid then?

Even if every British Jew were a Zionist that should not matter. British Jews today are overwhelmingly conservative. Green MPs principles are flexible, depending on the audience.

What Denyer did not say was that she was not going to compromise her anti-racist principles, probably because she doesn’t have any. Anyone today who supports Zionism or tries to fudge the issue is really saying they are prepared to compromise their anti-racism.

What the MPs are saying is that even if the Israeli state is a Jewish Supremacist state, that systematically discriminates, not only against its own Palestinian citizens but all non-Jews, they are prepared to accept that.

Carla Denyer, Ellie Chowns, Sian Berry and Adrian Ramsay, (who knows what Hannah Spencer believes) are prepared to accept the legitimacy of a state that is the most racist in the world. Why? Because we have to appease a ‘significant proportion of Jewish people’ although Jews are electorally irrelevant, comprising less than 0.5% of the population.

One would think that our MPs were more concerned about the 4 million Muslims. In fact the number of Arabs in Britain, 356,000 is greater than the number of Jews.

We should be honest. Most Jewish people today are not on the left. Many of them either don’t understand what Zionism is or they are outright racists.  Islamaphobia is very high amongst committed Zionists. The MPs say they are willing to compromise their principles for the sake of a few votes and that that they will tailor their views to the desire for votes.

The real reason that Denyer, Ramsay et al. support Zionism is because Zionism is an essential part of the British Establishment’s foreign policy consensus. It ties us to the United States. Israel is there to watch over Western interests in the Middle East and the MPs want to join their German counterparts.

Zionism is the adopted policy not just of British but Western imperialism. The insertion of a Jewish settler-colonial state adjacent to the Suez Canal was the overriding reason in 1917 for the Balfour Declaration.

We must be consistent anti-imperialists. The invasion of Venezuela, Trump’s support for the far-right in Latin America, the NATO proxy war in Ukraine and the war on Iran are all part of the same imperialist playbook.

The fight for Palestine and against imperialism and capitalism are inseparable. The Green Party Establishment, represented by its MPs and Caroline Lucas is wedded to imperialism.

In fact, according to the Institute for Jewish Policy Research, 44% of young Jews between the ages of 20 and 29 describe themselves anti-Zionist or non-Zionist. Sian Berry, Denyer and co. would rather appease racist Jews than connect with young anti-racist Jews.

The Racist Reality of a ‘Jewish’ Ethno-Supremacist State

When Israel was established it was not as if people were not warned as to how it would turn out.

Ø   Judah Magnes, first president of the Hebrew University, told the UN commission that partition would mean war on the Arabs.

Ø   Martin Buber, philosopher, argued a state imposed on the Arab population betrayed the point of the return. He favoured a shared Arab–Jewish polity.

Ø   Albert Einstein opposed “a Jewish state with borders, an army, and a measure of temporal power.”

Ø   Hannah Arendt warned that a state built without Arab consent would depend on outside force and could not be a democracy of equals

Let us have a look at what it is that the Green MPs are defending. According to last year’s Pennsylvania University State poll 82% of Israeli Jews support ethnically cleansing Gaza and 56% support expelling Palestinian citizens of Israel.

Nearly half (47%) supported exterminating all Palestinians in Gaza. This became over 60% when it included those who believed in a modern-day incarnation of Amalek, the biblical enemy who God commanded the Israelites to wipe out.

I suggest that the article Yes to Transfer: 82% of Jewish Israelis Back Expelling Gazans is required reading for our 5 MPs on pain of deselection. Then these dimwits could ask themselves why it is that the levels of racism in Israel today is far higher than the level of anti-Semitism in Nazi Germany, which was largely confined to a hard core of the Nazi Party.

Nor is this simply a product of October 7 as some people would have us believe. October 7 was the catalyst.

On 27 March 2007, 16 years before October 7, Israel’s YNet published Marriage to an Arab is national treason quoting a survey which found that amongst Israel’s Jewish population:

Ø   75 % don’t approve of shared apartment buildings

Ø   Over 50% believe that the marriage of a Jewish woman to an Arab man is equal to national treason. Not their objections weren’t religious but national/racial.

Ø   over 75 % did not approve of apartment buildings being shared between Arabs and Jews.

Ø   60 % said they would not allow an Arab to visit their home

Ø   40 % agreed that “Arabs should have their right to vote for Knesset revoked”.

Ø   Over half said they would not want to work under the direct management of an Arab

Ø   55 % said “Arabs and Jews should be separated at entertainment sites”.

Ø   Over 56% said they believed that Israel’s Arab citizens posed both a security and a demographic threat to the country.

Ø   Over 37% believed that “Arab culture is inferior.”

This is the meaning of a 'Jewish' State. By definition it means treating non-Jews and the indigenous population as despised outsiders, an untermenschen.

The 2016 Pew Report, Israel’s Religiously Divided Society found that 79% of Israeli Jews believed that Jews should be given preferential treatment. It also found that 48% supported expelling Arabs compared to 46% who opposed this.

Israeli Knesset rejects bill to ‘maintain equal rights amongst all its citizens’

In December 2008 the Knesset voted down, by 71-38, the Basic Law: Equality bill, tabled by MK Mossi Raz (Meretz). The text of the bill was clear and concise: “The State of Israel shall maintain equal political rights amongst all its citizens, without any difference between religions, race and sex.”

The Israeli Labor Party’s support for a two state solution was posited on the need to separate Jews from Palestinians in order to maintain a Jewish majority in Israel. Only then could Israel be both democratic and Jewish. In the words of Israel’s main opposition leader, Yair Lapid:

My principle says maximum Jews on maximum land with maximum security and with minimum Palestinians.

Zionism, which achieved dominance among diaspora Jews post-45, rewrote the history of Jewish people and wrote out of that history the Jewish left and the opposition of most Jews pre-WW2 to Zionism.

Stephen Pollard, the former Jewish Chronicle editor, who accused Zack Polanski of antisemitism, leapt to the defence of Poland's antisemitic Euro MP, Michal Kaminski because he was a 'friend of Israel'

Christian Zionism preceded Jewish Zionism by four centuries. The idea of a ‘Jewish Return to Palestine’ was the product of the Reformation and Renaissance. It was the anti-Semites who were the most ardent supporters of Zionism. That was the basis of the collaboration between Zionism and the Nazis.

Zionist novelist AB Yehoshua, in a lecture to the Union of Jewish Students, explained to those who had been reared on the propaganda lie that anti-Zionism = anti-Semitism that:

‘Anti-Zionism is not the product of the non-Jews. On the contrary, the Gentiles have always encouraged Zionism, hoping that it would help to rid them of the Jews in their midst. Even today, in a perverse way, a real anti-Semite must be a Zionist.’  (Jewish Chronicle 22.1.82.)

Francis Nicosia, the Raul Hilberg Professor of Holocaust Studies at Vermont University wrote that:

‘whereas today non-Jewish criticism of Zionism or the State of Israel is often dismissed as motivated by a deeper anti-Semitism, in Herzl’s day an opposite non-Jewish reaction, one of support for the Zionist idea, might have resulted in a similar reaction.’

The motion at Green Party conference is part of a growing realisation that Israel and Zionism are not about providing a refuge against anti-Semitism but colonialism, ethnic cleansing and the extermination of the indigenous Palestinians.

The political poverty of the motion’s opponents was shown in their hostility to the idea of a unitary non-racial democratic state. We were told that this was for the Palestinians to decide as if the Palestinians today have any agency.

The hypocrisy of the motion’s opponents is evidenced by the fact that until the motion passed, the Green Party supported a two state solution.  Clearly racist solutions are acceptable to Caroline Lucas and the Green MPs.

The protest outside the conference on Saturday by Jewish and Christian Zionists was a bonus. It demonstrated how racist Zionism is. Their accusations that the Green Party was a racist anti-Semitic party was not designed to win friends. These same buffoons carried placards denying that there was a genocide and also denying that Palestinians even existed.

The Zionists were extremely helpful in convincing delegates that Zionism is a form of racism. As I pointed out to them, those who deny the Genocide of the Palestinians are no different from those who deny the Holocaust.

A Genocidal State Has No Right to Exist

The favourite question of TV interviewers is ‘Do you believe Israel has the right to exist.’ When I was asked this question some years ago on BBC’s Big Questions,  I stated that people have the right to exist, not states. Zack Polanski handled it in a similar way. But another way of approaching this is to say that no genocidal state has the right to exist, using the words of Israeli politicians.

Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, the former Separdic Chief Rabbi who was of the belieft that '"If they don't stop after we kill 100, then we must kill a thousand," said Shmuel Eliyahu. "And if they do not stop after 1,000 then we must kill 10,000. If they still don't stop we must kill 100,000, even a million.

The Genocidal Statements of Israeli Ministers

Benjamin Netanyahu:    Ha'aretz, 3.1.24,

"remember what Amalek did to you"

Israel Is Paying the Price for Its Bigmouths, Ha'aretz 12.1.24.

Yoav Gallant, Israeli Defence Minister:

"there will be no electricity, food, water or fuel in Gaza. It will all be shut down, because Israel is fighting animals. You want hell, you'll get hell."

Israel Katz, now Defence Minister on cutting off water:

“that's what murderers of children deserve.”

Amichai Chikli, Israeli Diaspora Minister:

Israel "must find ways to cause suffering in Gaza."

President Isaac Herzog:      "the rhetoric about civilians uninvolved in the fighting is incorrect. We'll fight until we defeat them."

Intent in the genocide case against Israel is not hard to prove, Al Jazeera 14.1.24:

Netanyahu:         “This is a battle, not only of Israel against these barbarians, it is a battle of civilisation against barbarism,”

Israel, Stop Killing Children in Gaza  Ahmad Tibi, Ha’aretz 2 June 2025

MK Michal Woldiger (Religious Zionism)

“What is being done in Gaza, it's a pity that worse isn't done. There are no innocents. Yes, children should be killed. Because they serve as a human shield.”

Deputy Knesset Speaker MK Nissim Vaturi (Likud), interview with Radio Kol Barama,

"Who is innocent in Gaza? Civilians went out and slaughtered people in cold blood. The children and women must be separated, and the adult [men] in Gaza must be killed. We are being too considerate."

"Very soon we will turn Jenin [in the West Bank] into Gaza."

MK Moshe Saada (Likud)

“Yes, I'll starve Gazans, yes, this is our obligation; to impose a totally full blockade”

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich (Religious Zionism)

“We will destroy what remains of Gaza.”

South Africa calls on ICJ to end 'Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza' Al Monitor, 16.5.24

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, April 2024

“There are no half measures. Rafah, Deir al-Balah, Nuseirat – total annihilation. ‘You will blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven’ – there’s no place under heaven.”

Conclusion

Now that the Labour Party is no longer a left party and because Corbyn destroyed Your Party, the Green Party is where socialists should be.

But it needs to be an anti-capitalist, eco-socialist Green Party. The idea that you can green capitalism is a delusion. The profit motive directly contradicts saving the planet which is why America and Europe are engulfed by wild fires.

The victory at Green Party conference will have repercussions world wide, especially in Israel. It is going to meet with opposition from the British state and its media lapdogs. Jews will be the moral alibis for Britain’s foreign policy and the bogey of ‘anti-Semitism’ will be raised despite it being quite clear that opposition to the genocidal Israeli state has nothing to do with anti-Semitism.  See
