Open Letter to George Galloway – There is only one issue in the Holborn-St. Pancras By-Election – Labour’s Support for Genocide in Gaza

Two Years Ago in Rochdale You Said that Gaza was the Main Issue – What Has Changed? The Genocide is Still Continuing

In March 2024 at the count in the Rochdale by-election, which Galloway won with a stunning 40% of the vote, he said that Gaza was the main issue.

Arch-Zionist Luke Akehurst is Canvassing for Labour in Camden - is George Galloway Really Going to Help Her?

Now however the issue is not Gaza or Genocide or Zionism. Galloway is reported as saying that his decision to stand as a candidate in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election is his differences with Zack Polanski over Ukraine and trans-rights. Gaza and Israel’s blitzkrieg in the Middle East has been forgotten. It seems that the real issue is George’s huge ego and his inability to stay out of the limelight.

Chris Williamson was right to resign as Deputy Leader of the Workers Party of Britain. The only choice in the election is between Polanski of the Green Party and Sagal Abdi-Wali, of the Labour Party. There is no other choice.

As The Standard said, Polanski has gained a huge boost from the backing of Andrew Feinstein, the former ANC MP and socialist who gained 7,312 votes in 2024 against the notorious liar, the unlamented Keir Starmer. Whereas Andrew gained 18.9% of the vote Starmer, despite being the incumbent Prime Minister, had a swing of 17.3% against him.

Polanski is clearly the anti-Genocide candidate standing against Labour’s genocide supporting candidate. For Galloway to stand, when it is clear he is going to get a derisory vote on a par with the 1.4% and 489 votes he obtained in Tom Watson’s old seat of West Bromwich East in 2019, or perhaps the 0.5% and 164 votes that Peter Ford of the Workers Party obtained in the 2025 by-election in Runcorn, demonstrates that Galloway’s hatred of the Green Party, or is it Polanski, is greater than his hatred of the Labour Party.

1.4% may be the difference between Polanski winning and losing. Galloway has always said that Palestine is for him the key issue yet here he is threatening to help the party of genocide, the Labour Party, win the election.

The reality is that Galloway’s primary concern has always been himself. He has never subordinated his own ego to the greater good. How can he be serious and say that trans rights is the main issue?  This is an issue that divides the left. It is an issue that the right-wing has campaigned on vociferously demonising anyone who doesn’t fit into the binary of male or female.

Given the attacks of Trump, Sunak and the far-right against transgender people one would expect anyone serious about left politics not to join in trans-baiting.

Galloway has always had a bad record on issues of sexuality. In an interview with Novara Media Galloway said:

“I don’t want my children prematurely sexualised at all, I don’t want them taught that some things are normal when their parents don’t believe that they’re normal.”

He has opposed gay sex being treated as normal in the context of sex education in schools.

He has also had the Tate brothers on his Moats show. Andrew and Tristan Tate are notorious for building a massive online following by promoting extreme misogyny, hyper-masculinity, and luxury lifestyles, alongside facing criminal charges including human trafficking, rape, and sexual exploitation.

It is no surprise that Galloway finds the Tate brothers attractive, despite Andrew Tate being removed from Big Brother in 2016 after a video showed him attacking a woman with a belt.

The jury is out on whether Galloway can even be described as on the left. He made his name as a firebrand in Scotland, Chair of the Scottish Labour Party and the person who ousted Roy Jenkins of the SDP from his Glasgow Hillhead seat in 1997. He has represented 4 different constituencies including Bradford West, Bethnal Green and Bow and last of all Rochdale.

His attitude to refugees and asylum seekers has been little different to the far-right. In May 2021 hundreds of Glaswegians prevented the thugs of Priti Patel’s snatch squads from seizing and deporting refugees by surrounding their van. Nicola Sturgeon supported them. But Galloway vented his spleen instead against those who freed the refugees rather than the racist Priti Patel and the Home Office:

“A devolved assembly has openly and unlawfully defied the implementation of a UK government decision,”

Galloway indulged in what Mark Brown described as ‘bilious refugee baiting.’

Galloway has always has been a bitter opponent of Scottish devolution and independence. This ‘bilious unionism’ perhaps explains his support for Brexit and his attempt to stand for the Brexit Party of Nigel Farage. Although according to The Spectator he has now changed his mind and supports independence for Scotland.

At the time of the 2016 referendum over Brexit he appeared on the same platform as Nigel Farage and compared their relationship to that between Winston Churchill and Stalin. Galloway’s high points – his confrontation with US Senators over Iraq and the Rochdale by-election are unfortunately matched by his low points such as support for the Brexit party in the 2019 European elections.

Perhaps the only principle he has maintained throughout his career is support for George Galloway. One can only hope that he has second thoughts and doesn’t end up supporting the party of Genocide in Gaza, the Labour Party.

I have therefor written an Open Letter to Galloway in the hope that he will reconsider his egotistical decision to stand.

Is There Anyone More Despicable Than Starmer? His Claim that Maccabi Fans Were Banned Because They are Jewish Was A Lie

Maccabi’s Match With Tel Aviv's Hapoel was Called Off Because their Racist Fans Rioted – Starmer is left with Egg on his Ugly Visage

Richard Sanders Brilliant Video for Double Down News on a Genocidal State and the Genocidal IDF

Perhaps the only achievement that Starmer can claim to his credit is that he has managed to make Boris Johnson look like a man of integrity and honesty. Whenever Starmer is given the choice between lying and telling the truth he always chooses the former.

When this human android speaks it is important to understand that whatever other concerns he has, the truth is not amongst them. His only concern is the advantage that he thinks he will get.

It is rather unfortunate for Starmer that events don’t always turn out as you want. That is what happens to congenital liars. No sooner had Starmer branded the banning of Tel Aviv Maccabi fans ‘anti-Semitic’ than they did what they always do – they rioted. This time in Israel.  The resulting ban makes not only Starmer, but Nigel Farage, Bad Enoch and Ed Davey look like the racist chancers they are.

Intrepid Dutch child reporter on what happened when Tel Aviv Maccabi fans rioted

When Birmingham Police and the Council agreed that the Tel Aviv Maccabi fans would be banned on safety grounds, an eminently wise decision given their past record, Starmer jumped right in. He was happy to join with Nigel Farage, Tommy Robinson and the ultra-right supporters of Israeli genocide.

Dutch man being beaten up by Tel Aviv Maccabi Fans in Amsterdam

The fact that the Maccabi fans had gone on a rampage last November in Amsterdam bothered him not. The fact that they had chanted slogans like ‘we will rape your girls’ or ‘Death to the Arabs’ was of no concern.

Starmer and the other scum like the far-right Robert Jenrick knew full well the violent and racist record of Tel Aviv Maccabi. If they didn’t they should have kept their mouths shut whilst they found out.

Dutch Police Chief statement on the Tel Aviv Maccabi Hooligans

Anyone who had any acquaintance with what happened in Amsterdam and the behaviour of Maccabi fans knew that they had not only gone on a violent rampage but that they had chanted the vilest racist slogans.

But why should racist chants bother a confirmed and devoted racist like Starmer? A flag shagger who believes ‘patriotism’ is enough to fill peoples’ stomachs. A man (!) who only recently followed in Enoch Powell’s footsteps when bemoaning this ‘island of strangers’ before people reacted badly and he withdrew his racist comments.

Tel Aviv Maccabi Fans Chant 'We Will Rape Your Girls' - Starmer has no problem with this

Starmer’s path to the Labour leadership was one long lie. He won the election on a radical platform of 10 Pledges such as a promise to introduce a Prevention of Military Intervention Act. Who has heard of that since? Certainly it hasn’t played much part in the Coalition of the Willing as Starmer tries to keep the Ukraine war going.

Maccabi thugs on the rampage

Above all Starmer committed himself to Zionism. He declared, in the best traditions of British imperialism that he was a ‘Zionist without qualification’. In other words a racist, in word and deed.

It is yet another question mark over Corbyn’s leadership qualities that he included Starmer in his Shadow Cabinet. Corbyn is an appalling judge of character. Even when Starmer announced that Labour was supporting a new referendum on Brexit, he still kept the toad on as Brexit spokesperson.

What REALLY Happened in Amsterdam - DDN

If Corbyn had done basic due diligence on Starmer we might never have had this apology for a robot. He was personally responsible for the persecution of Julian Assange. He tried to deport to the United States an autistic  teenager Gary McKinnon who even Theresa May vetoed. Starmer sat on the evidence that Jimmy Saville was guilty of gross child abuse and tried to cover for killers in the Metropolitan Police.

Starmer’s record should have spoken volumes yet for some reason Corbyn appointed him as Brexit Secretary. Just as Corbyn recommended for the House of Lords the main spokesman for the Labour Right, Tom Watson.

Starmer's Fake and Synthetic Remarks About Srebenica's Genocide When 8,000 Muslims Were Murdered

Starmer has demonstrated his commitment to genocidal Israel. He said in parliament that he knew what a genocide was and that Gaza wasn’t one. However he omitted to tell us why Gaza wasn’t a genocide when he argued that Vukovar with 1200 deaths was a genocide and Srebenica was a genocide.

'Why will Starmer call out Russia but not Israel?' | LBC

He also failed to tell us why he could condemn Russian war crimes in Ukraine but wanted to wait for a court judgement before doing the same in Gaza.

Starmer lied when he said Labour had stopped arms shipments going to Israel when the amount supplied by this government has exceeded even that of the Tories.

Starmer has spoken repeatedly about the Israeli hostages and never once mentioned the torture and beatings that all Palestinian prisoners face. Not once has he demanded, for example, that the Red Cross be allowed in to Israeli torture camps.

When British citizens were abducted off the Gaza Freedom Flotilla and beaten up he said nothing other than that it was a matter for the Israelis. Those on the flotilla were captured in international waters. Is that not an issue for a so-called human rights lawyer? Is the maltreatment of British citizens not an issue for the UK government?

This is the email I sent to Starmer at https://contact.no10.gov.uk/

The reality is that Starmer and this government is tied at the hip to US foreign policy and Trump in particular. This has taken on a particularly comic turn when Trump deliberately humiliated Starmer at the Cairo ‘peace summit’ last week when he called Starmer forward and then sent him back without speaking. His red face told the story of his humiliation.

Starmer himself is not just a pathetic individual without a trace of personality or charisma. He represents a ‘Labour’ government which sees its job as making it easy for parasites like United Health, with their eyes on the NHS to go about their business of destroying our health system from the inside.

It is a government without a shred of radicalism. Compared even to Blair’s New Labour Starmer is just a reactionary interlude between the Tories and Farage’s Reform. The only thing Starmer has offered us is more repressive public order legislation, the banning of Palestine Action, the attack on the disabled and claimants and a series of scandals such as Angela Rayner trying to avoid paying tax on her third home.

Starmer has shown himself to be a devoted supporter of Zionism, genocide in Gaza and the weaponisation of anti-Semitism. It was obvious to anyone with a brain cell to spare that the banning of Tel Aviv Maccabi was not because they were Jewish but because they were violent racist thugs.

Starmer's Many Lies Trip Him Up in a Web of Deceit

It wasn’t Jews who were banned but Maccabi fans. In pretending that all Jews were banned Starmer was being  his usual lying self.

The British government is well aware that Israel is a state where nearly 60% of Jews want to deport its Palestinian citizens and over 80% want to ethnically cleanse Gaza and over 60% want to kill every living human being there. Yet this counts for nothing compared to their fake ‘anti-Semitism’ concerns.

Just as ‘anti-Semitism’ is the only form of racism Trump is concerned about so too with Starmer and the rest of the misfits in his cabinet. Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson is most concerned about ‘anti-Semitism’ in universities but has nothing to say about attacks on mosques or Islamaphobia.

Far from being on the rise, ‘anti-Semitism’ is at an all-time low. It is only its redefinition as opposition to Zionism and genocide that enables the Met Police, Starmer and the Zionists to pretend that it is on the increase. This dishonesty has now exploded with the riot of Tel Aviv Maccabi yesterday.

When asked what could go wrong, Tory Prime Minister Harold MacMillan said ‘events boy, events’. So it has proved with Britain’s most unpopular and least charismatic Prime Minister.

It’s Time to Deselect Benn, Hodge and Kyle

Labour’s Progress MPs Should Be Helped to Join the Tory Party

It's time for Momentum to mobilise support for Corbyn and begin the process of delection of Progress MPs
The narrow victory of Brexit in the European referendum has split the Tories down the middle.  The Conservative Party is in the middle of an unprecedented political crisis as Cameron resigns and Boris Johnson is the favourite to assume the mantle of leadership.  Division over Europe has been the Tories Achilles heel.
Corbyn demonstrates his boredom at Benn's actions by sacking him!
Labour's Right come to the rescue of Johnson
Added to this there is a constitutional crisis as the SNP moves to call a new referendum over independence whilst seeking to preserve its place in the European Union.  The break up of the Great Britain is a distinct possibility as Scotland will almost certainly vote for independence in a new vote.
It is therefore no surprise that Labour’s Right has chosen this of all moments to challenge Jeremy Corbyn.  It is entirely possible that the Tories will have to call a General Election.  Their majority is less than 20.  What Progress fears more than a Tory election victory is a Labour victory under Corbyn.  As The Independent reported: ‘Tony Blair has said he would not want a left-wing Labour party to win a general election.  The former prime minister said that even if he thought a left-wing programme was the route to victory, he would not adopt one.’
Labour's far-right Tory MP Peter Kyle should be helped to reach his natural political home
Blair’s opinion represents the views of Progress.  They don’t want a radical change to the capitalist system.  They don’t want a radical programme which means the transfer of wealth from the super rich to the poor.  They want to preserve inequality whilst tinkering around at the edges.
David Lammy MP calls for Referendum to be ignored
It is now essential that Momentum, which  Jon Lansman has ensured remains a toothless guard dog, now springs into action to begin the process of deselection of Benn, the multi-millionairess tax dodger Margaret Hodge, Hove’s Peter Kyle and all the other Labour Tories.

Corbyn has made a good start by sacking Hilary Benn from the Shadow Cabinet.  He should now pre-empt any resignations by sacking Angela Eagle, who is equally disloyal, her sister Maria, Israel’s devoted supporter Fabian Hamilton and any other scab within the Shadow Cabinet.  Stephen Kinnock, son of the Labour traitor Neil Kinnock, who managed to lose 2 successive elections, Anne Coffey and the rest of them should go.

The disloyalty of Labour’s Right is unacceptable.  There needs to be a bloodbath and the deselection of at least 50 Progress MPs to encourage the others.
Farage ran a nakedly racist campaign
It is not necessary for the Shadow Cabinet to cover every equivalent position in the Cabinet.  A smaller and tighter Shadow Cabinet is better than a larger and more incoherent body.

The only question is whether Labour stands for anything radically different from the Tory Opposition.  It is time to clean the Augean Stables of the PLP.

Politically Labour needs to make it clear that the Referendum on Brexit is not the final say on the European Union.  There needs to be a political fight to win over the heartlands of Labour in the North and to defang UKIP.  It needs to drain the poison which says that immigration causes low wages and loss of jobs.  Immigration is a lightning conductor for fears over jobs, housing and prosperity.  The idea that immigration causes job losses is nonsense.

If it were true then any country with unemployment could expel a section of its population and solve the problem of unemployment!  In reality immigration creates jobs because it increases demand.  The deindustrialisation of the North and Midlands was a result of a deliberate policy of Thatcher to make Britain dependent on financial services and a candy floss economy of coffee shops and services.
There is no reason why the referendum on the EU should be final. It was won on lies and there is no reason for there not to be a second referendum.  See

A socialist economic policy is the only thing that can win over the Northern working-class.  New Labour has no alternative.  When Blair won in 1996 anybody could have defeated the divided Tory party.  In every successive election Labour lost millions of votes.  Blair’s reign was not a success, quite the contrary.  Corbyn was elected Labour leader because of mass revulsion at the Tory’s victory and the half-hearted response of Ed Miliband.  Now is the time for courage.  Now is the time to wage war on Progress MPs.

Jo Cox – A victim of Farage, Boris Johnson and the Daily Express’s Hate Campaign

Farage, Johnson & the Daily Express Editor should be in the Dock with Thomas Mair
We can and never will know what went through the mind of Thomas Mair.  What we do know he was composed enough to answer, in response to a request to give his name, ‘"Death to traitors freedom for Britain"  As far as he was concerned Jo Cox, who was well known for her campaigning for and in support of Syrian refugees, was a traitor.
Thomas Mair (centre) on a Britain First picket of a Muslim stall - Let's see Britain First proscribed as a terrorist organisation
The idea that he was suffering from mental health problems is irrelevant.  People who are mentally ill don’t carefully construct a gun from manuals, which they’ve ordered from neo-Nazi sites in America, they don’t subscribe to Apartheid South African magazines, they don’t picket Muslim stalls with other members of Britain First.
Jo Cox 5th from left outside the House of Commons with fellow MPs
Mair's problem was that he was an aggressive, violent fascist.

Muslims who end up in court for murder, like those who killed Private Clegg, aren't considered mentally ill, though it is highly likely at least one of them was.  They were considered, rightly, as responsible for their actions and that should be the same with Thomas Mair.
Louise Mensch, Zionist and former Tory MP makes excuses for Jo Cox's murderer - Nick Griffin of neo-Nazi BNP approves of her comments though
What is true though is that  Mair was emboldened to go out, with a knife and a gun and kill Jo Cox because in Britain at the moment there is a European Referendum campaign in which refugees and migrants are being demonised.

By chance I was in Leeds the very day that Jo was murdered, as I was speaking there that evening.  As I came into the city I noticed a large poster saying that Turkey was going to join the European Union (a lie) and underneath that something about 78 million migrants.

If anyone bears responsibility for the death of Jo Cox MP it is Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson and the Daily Express Editor amongst others, with their toxic and racist campaign.  They should be in the dock alongside Mair as accomplices to murder.

See We mourn and will miss Jo Cox

In January this year, Sarah Champion (Rotherham) (Lab) moved that the House consider damning reports into Israel’s system of martial law that is now in its 49th year, including allegations that “alleged ill-treatment of children during arrest, transfer, interrogation and detention have not significantly decreased in 2013 and 2014”. Cox made one of the earliest contributions:

I congratulate my hon. Friend on securing this debate. She will be aware that evidence from Military Court Watch suggests that 65% of children continue to report being arrested at night in what are described as terrifying raids by the military. Will she comment on that worrying fact?

She was preceded by the execrable Mrs Louise Ellman (Liverpool, Riverside) (Lab/Co-op) who asked Champion if she accepted that “the context in which these situations occur is an organised campaign conducted by the Palestinian authorities of incitement, to try to provoke young Palestinians to carry out acts of violence towards other civilians, some of which result in death, including the death of young children?”

Cox’s contribution was followed by that of Conservative Friend of Israel Vice-Chairman, Andrew Percy (Brigg and Goole) (Con) who suggested Champion “knows full well that the difficulty of arresting people during the day instead of the night is that it has led to deaths and riots. The authorities are operating in a very difficult context.”

It is worth noting here that Jo Cox was joined in her condemnation of Israel’s actions by Naz Shah MP, who made a memorable and complementary contribution:

I congratulate my hon. Friend the Member for Rotherham (Sarah Champion) on securing this very important debate, and it is a great honour to serve under your chairmanship, Mr Chope.
I will keep my speech very brief. The hon. Member for Brigg and Goole (Andrew Percy) referred to a doll. I would argue that people do not need dolls to promote hate and violence. What we have before us in Israel and Palestine is children between the ages of nine and 12 experiencing discrimination. I have children of my own who are aged eight and 11, but I cannot begin to imagine the trauma and the stamp on Palestinian children’s brains and hearts of hatred towards the Israeli military as they grow up and face discrimination, as well as the way they are tret in custody. So I would argue that we do not need props.

Only recently, Shin Bet told the Israeli Government that Abbas was not encouraging terror and was actually promoting peace. So, I disagree with my hon. Friends when they say that the Palestinians are promoting this kind of propaganda.

As a former chair of a mental health charity and having my own children, I really struggle to understand why the Israeli Government and the world are silent on dealing with the trauma that these Palestinian children are growing up with. Surely we know that hate breeds hate; laws aside, that is just common sense. There are children who are blindfolded and tortured. We have got evidence before us. How can my hon. Friends ignore that? How can anyone even present a counter-argument to it? We are talking about the basic humanitarian right of children, which we in this House have signed up to, and we must support these children with conviction. There should be no excuse for taking children aged nine away from their homes, detaining them and sending them to prison. That is absolutely unacceptable.

I note my hon. Friend’s comments that a child should not be detained, and I assume that she means in any circumstances. Suppose a child was involved in an act of violence that resulted in the deaths of other human beings. That is what has happened with young Palestinians throwing stones—people have been killed. In those circumstances, surely she thinks that there should be detention.

Below is a tribute from Medical Aid to Palestine to someone who was an outspoken advocate for Palestine.

17 June 2016

The team at MAP were saddened to hear about the tragic death of Jo Cox MP.

She frequently spoke out in Parliament on issues in Palestine. Below is her intervention on Gaza made last year.

Jo Cox (Batley and Spen) (Lab): As a former Oxfam aid worker for many years, I have worked for far too long on and in the conflict that we are debating, but I still believe that there will be a resolution in my lifetime—hopefully in the next few years.

Because of the time constraints, I will focus on three things. First, I would love a response from the Minister about what confidence-building action the Government are taking, particularly on Gaza. The Gaza reconstruction mechanism is clearly not working, but it is also not a substitute for easing the closure. There is a need for urgent expansion of access to Israeli markets for Palestinian exports.

What measures are the Government taking to that end? We also need to remove the last restrictions on the export of Gazan products to the west bank.

I would like construction materials to be allowed into Gaza urgently. The facts are clear: only one home has been rebuilt in the past year, since the bombing, and the projections are that it will take hundreds of years to rebuild at the current rate. There is a need for materials to get into Gaza so that people can rebuild their lives. What is the Government’s view on that?

In addition, people need to get in and out of Gaza. In 2000 about 500,000 people were leaving and returning to Gaza, for work or to see family members. This year the number is 18,000, which is very low, and we need to raise it quickly. We also need the Israeli Government to continue to believe that there will be a cost to their allowing further settlement expansion in the west bank. I would love to know what the Government are doing to get that message clearly heard by the Israeli Government. I would be interested also in the Government’s view of the Israeli Government’s silent policy of retrospectively legalising illegal outposts.

Finally, the allegations—including allegations of war crimes—in the commission of inquiry’s report must be investigated fully by Israel and Hamas. Both sides of the conflict deserve access to justice and accountability. For the most part domestic mechanisms and investigations are poor; they are either rejected quickly or not run to international standards. Indeed, the report notes that Israel has a
“lamentable track record in holding wrong doers accountable” and that investigation by Hamas is “woefully inadequate”. Following the UK’s welcome endorsement of the report last week, I would love to hear what the Government intend to do to support international mechanisms to pursue justice and accountability, particularly in relation to preliminary work by the International Criminal Court.
