Nearly
a year ago I wrote about
how the Police and the Security Services were using money laundering
legislation, introduced to stop serious crime, to target Palestine solidarity
supporters, including myself.
As is
normal these days with the Terrorism Act 2000, legislation introduced for one
purpose is being used for another purpose, in this case attacking peaceful
direct action groups and opponents of Genocide.
It is
Financial Terrorism because it is intended to frighten and deter people from
taking action against the British State which is actively complicit in the Genocide
in Gaza. The State faces an uphill battle to convict me in a trial starting at
Kingston Crown Court on August 18th for ‘inviting support for a proscribed organisation (Hamas)’. This
despite the fact that we have a hostile Judge Plashkes KC presiding over it.

Hence
the attempt to intimidate me. The question that springs to mind is whether
those responsible for contacting the banks are engaged in trying to pervert the
course of justice.
The message I get when I log on
In the
past two years I have been debanked by three banks – Nationwide, which is an anti-Palestinian bank, HSBC and First Direct. No reason has ever been given
but it’s not hard to work out what was going on. The Financial Ombudsman
Service, to which I complained, has proved itself a completely toothless
lapdog.
I Received This Yesterday From Santander!
The
Police and the National Crime Agency have decided to attack the finances of Palestine solidarity
groups. Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign and Greater Manchester Friends
of Palestine have both had their bank accounts frozen because of an alleged link to Palestine Action,
even before thelatters unlawful proscription.
Unity
Trust Bank, which is supposed to be a progressive bank, since it’s owned by the
trade unions, confirmed at a meeting with Scottish PSC that the freezing of
their account was at the behest of the NCA. It seems that ‘serious crime’ today
is not robbing a bank, money laundering or human trafficking – it is opposing
Genocide in Palestine.
The NCA
is one of these organisations that are accountable to no one but wield a great
deal of power because their remit is serious crime. However Palestine
solidarity has been redefined as ‘anti-Semitism’ and ‘terrorism’ so the NCA has
become the State’s instrument of choice in the attempt to criminalise
solidarity with the Palestinians.
It is
not only in this country that the State is employing financial terrorism.
Francesca Albanese, the UN Rapporteur for Palestine, has been a target of the
Trump regime. Her bank accounts, credit cards and finances have been frozen,
all because she has been an outspoken critic of the West’s role in financing
and arming Israel’s genocide.

a mafia. But they will not break us.’ The Trump and Starmer regimes
are just that – mafia bosses in suits. At least though Trump doesn’t claim to
be a human rights lawyer unlike Starver.
The Judges of the
International Criminal Court were also targeted by Trump’s sanctions, which
include travel bans, asset freezes and denial of services from US companies,
for having had the temerity to press war crimes charges and issue a warrant
against Netanyahu, the Hitler of our age. The idea of indicting war criminals
is not one that our leaders take very kindly given that they may be next in
line.

years, she has sat as a judge at the international criminal court, weighing
accusations of war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity; now she is on
the same list as terrorists and those involved in organised crime. “It really was a moment of a bit of

And
that is the reality of the financial sanctions that I and others face in
Britain. A government which had an iota of morality or principle, would have
condemned outright the US sanctions on Albanese and ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan, which
the Trump Junta imposed in

been faced with anonymous allegations, the nature of which I am not allowed to
see or know, being used to freeze my accounts and those of the charity of which
I’m a trustee.
For the
past year Santander has intermittently carried out 3 investigations into the
accounts of the Brighton Trust and related organisations. It found nothing but
I always suspected that their justification of ‘getting to know their customer’
was simply a pretext.
I first
found out what was happening when Stripe, who handle payment processing for the
Chuffed crowdfunder which we set up to appeal for donations to the Al Tafawk Children’s Centre in Jenin sent me a cryptic message saying that ‘A recent payout to your connected
bank account failed’. It soon became clear why it had failed.
Without any warning
Santander had frozen a total of 8 accounts. The only one spared was that of my
son, which I administer. When I contacted the bank no one would speak to me
from the department in question.
It was not until June 5, three days after the
freezing of my accounts that they sent me an email, which said nothing other
than that ‘We will arrange for a
specialist complaints manager to contact you at their earliest opportunity.’
They still have not contacted me.
It is as if they were
too ashamed to even try to defend their decision.
It means that I have
had to take emergency action to ensure that funds raised for the children of
the Al Tafawk Centre are secured. To attack the ability to operate of a charity
raising funds for a children’s centre is despicable. They suffer enough at the
hands of the terrorist IDF without facing the terrorism of the British state
acting via its banking system.
The faceless men who
run the National Crime Agency in conjunction with tame bankers are, like their
counterparts in the Metropolitan Police, devoted to supporting the Genocide in
Gaza and ethnic cleansing underway in the West Bank.
I am taking legal
advice over my next steps and without giving anything away I will not hesitate
to challenge the freeze in court if necessary. I intend to force Santander to
justify their actions and to release the money. To do this I will need to raise
money so I ask people to contribute to my Legal
Crowdfunder. As Chuffed
is based in Australia it is beyond the reach of Starver’s mafia and his police
state mates.
However this whole
debanking exercise needs to become a political issue. Banking is essential for
anyone to function in the modern economy. To take peoples’ banking facilities
away because they don’t conform to the state’s expectations is financial terrorism.
Banks need to be forced to justify any attempt to debank someone.
The ideal solution would be for the banks to be nationalised.
They are too important to be left in the hands of the private sector. When they
get into trouble, as was the case in 2008, then they come running to the state to
bail them out. If they are ‘too big to fail’ which is how they were able to
secure billions of pounds from the state in a bailout, then they are too big to
be owned by private shareholders.

these dirty tricks tactics by the state are intended as a prelude to my trial
at Kingston Crown Court. But whilst the Secret State is targeting my bank
accounts and those of other opponents of genocide, paedophiles like Ivor Caplin

The
conference which I attended from June 13-15, organised by a small Steering Committee based
in Vienna, was a truly joyous coming together of Palestine solidarity activists
the world over. There was even a delegation from Indonesia.
The
conference itself was overbooked with hundreds of people having to be turned
away. Jewish and non-Jewish people of all faiths and none were united in a
determination to see an end to the poisonous ideology of Zionism which motivated
the creation of the Israeli state.

On
the eve of the conference Israel launched an unprovoked attack on Iran, almost
certainly in co-ordination with the United States and Britain, using Iran’s
nuclear facilities as the pretext for the attack.
Tonight
we hear of a massive Iranian counter-attack which has hit Tel Aviv, the centre
of the failed state with Tel Aviv being hit particularly hard. It is small
justice for razing Gaza to rubble but welcome nonetheless. The sooner Israeli citizens
become accustomed to their own homes being bombed, the sooner they may
recognise that Palestinians have had to put up with this particular Israeli speciality
for far too long.

were a range of speakers today – both on live video call and in person. The
Conference was open by veteran Israeli anti-Zionist Haim Bresheeth from Britain’s
Jewish Network for Palestine.
The
first session’s speakers were Ghada Karmi, Ilan Pappe and Rima Hassan, the
heroine of the freedom flotilla and Francesca
Albanese, the fearless UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine. The latter two appeared
by video link. Rima had intended to attend in person but because of her
kidnapping by Israel she was unable to make it. The session was moderated by
Haim Bresheeth.
We
had a special video greeting delegates from Roger Waters who Iunderstand very generously helped fund the
conference which was enormously expensive.
The
next session was moderated by Ronnie Barkan. Yakov Rabkin spoke by zoom, with Donny Gluckstein,
Haim Bresheeth and Awad Abdelfatah speaking in person.
After the evening meal the final session had the Jewish podcaster Katie
Halper, Rahma Zein, Wieland Hoban and Astrid Wagner.
Tomorrow morning starts with a session From Pride to Denial: Arab Jews and Integrating
in the Arab World with Iris Hefets,
Reuven Abergel, and Camille Levy Sarfati speaking.
After that there will be a session on Reclaiming Anti-Fascism and Fighting
the Instrumentalisation of Antisemitism at which Tony Greenstein, Stephen Kapos,
Wieland Hoban and Wilhelm Langthaler will speak.
In the afternoon there will be a session on Decolonisation and Liberation: The
Relevance of Historical Models when Ronnie Barkan, Ramzy Baroud and
Roshan Dadoo will be speaking.
The final session tomorrow Against Zionism and Imperialism: The Move to Ending
Impunity, Implementing Sanctions will include Peter Eisenstein, Haim Bresheeth, Tarkan Tek and Irina Vana as
speakers.
The Congress will continue on the Sunday with three parallel workshops
taking place over two sessions, with feedback and discussion on workshops.
The Congress represents the first visible sign of the cracks in the
previously monolithic support of diaspora Jewish communities for Zionism and Israel.
Jewish people world wide are waking up the fact that they are being used by the
imperialist elites as a moral alibi for Israel’s genocide and mass murder and
apartheid. An Israel which is occupying Lebanese and Syrian territory, and which
will threaten Jordan and Egypt in the future is attacking Iran and Yemen now.
Israel is imperialism’s mad dog run wild in the Middle East. Every time
it attacks a country it is for self-defence. Just like its bogus attacks on
people as ‘anti-Semites’ this dressing up of continual attacks on its
neighbours as ‘self-defence’ is wearing thin as shown by every poll in Western
countries, including the United States.

what happened at the aid distribution centre in Rafah on Monday June 2nd.

of the dust and the shelling and the heavy gunfire directed at us. Dozens of
people were killed. And the airstrikes also killed dozens of people.”
Is there anything more
sickening than Israel, having cut off food and water, then ‘inviting’ people to
go to its ‘humanitarian’ aidfoundation
distribution centre and then, like trapped mice, opening fire on them. Yet

Even Channel 4, instead of titling it ‘Israeli
Murder at Aid Distribution Centre’ calls it
‘Tensions rise in Gaza amid confusion at aid site’. There was no confusion anymore than
there was confusion at My Lai when the Americans did the same in
Vietnam. But the Western media, even when covering these crimes wraps them in verbal
cotton wool.
The lie that Hamas bears responsibility for
Israel's targeting of civilians because they use them as 'human shields' is
just a license for Israel to rain down more bombs on hospitals, schools, UN
buildings , mosques and even churches.
The reality is that Israel has consistently
forced Palestinians, including children, to become
human shields by forcing them to enter building where Palestinian fighters may
be present.
In comparison to Israel’s genocidal leaders, Hamas
chiefs are the equivalent of Victorian ladies taking tea at a summer’s garden

single person in the audience.” which begged the question, 'why the
fuck don't you resign then and do some good for the first time in your life'?
The Israeli state was born in blood and fire in a
terrorist war directed at the British occupation and the Palestinian
inhabitants. The bombing of
the King David Hotel which caused 96 deaths and the Deir Yassin massacre when
over 100 Palestinians were murdered in cold blood are just some of the bloody
incidents to the credit of Irgun, the Revisionist terror group. Netanyahu's
Likud is the political descendant of this wing of the Zionist movement.
That is why, on 22 July 2006, an event was held in
Jerusalem to celebrate the bombing of the King David and amongst those
attending was Netanyahu. So much for Israel’s condemnation of terrorism.

47% of Israelis wanted to do what Hitler did to the Jews – total
extermination. The same poll showed that 56 percent of Israeli Jews
support the expulsion of Palestinian citizens of Israel. This is Zionism,
racist to the core.
But it was even worse than that. As Skwawkbox pointed out 65%
said they believe that the Palestinians are a ‘current incarnation of
Amalek’ and of those, 93%said the (command) to wipe
them out still applies. In other words more than 60% agree with the wholesale
slaughter of Palestinians.
We have rabbis, like Rabbi Mali of Bnei Moshe
Yeshivah ruling that
children too must be killed and Israeli government ministers, from Smotrich (Gaza will
be totally destroyed) to Nissim Vaturi with his call to
‘burn Gaza’, reinforcing this message. Yet this despicable government of
war criminals cannot even sanction Smotrich and Ben Gvir, let alone say openly
and honestly that if Netanyahu sets foot on British soil he will be arrested
and sent to the Hague for war crimes.

they wish they could press a button to wipe Gaza out in an instance. The Friendship
Songbroadcast on
Kan TV, Israel’s public broadcaster, had Israeli school girls sweetly singing
about the annihilation of the Palestinians.
We should take Israeli Jewish society at its word.
Its attitude to Palestinians is no different from the Nazi attitude to the
Jews. This is the only lesson that Israel has drawn from the holocaust.

But whereas Waad Jalaal was lucky, 11 year old
influencer Yaqeen Hammad was not so lucky. Her house was deliberately
targeted by Israeli planes because anyone with the
potential to resist, anyone who attempts to lift the spirits of the
Palestinians, even a child, must die so that Israel’s monsters can continue
their ethnic cleansing.
Israel has missiles which can, as they boast, take
out a single flat in a multi-storey block. Yaqeen had to die in the same way
that the Nazis, when they invaded Poland decided that the intelligentsia,
including priests had to die. It was called Operation
Tannenburg. Israel
calls their operation Gideon’s
Chariots. The
name is different but the aim is the same.
Not only is the Israeli military and its child
killers terrorists, so too are their Western backers – such as Annalena Baerbock,
Germany’s former ‘Green’ Foreign Minister, Scholtz, Starmer & Trump.
The claim that Israel’s ‘war’ is against Hamas is a
lie. If it is true then there would not have been anything like the destruction
in Gaza. Israel has deliberately targeted all civilian
infrastructure.
Only last week thousands of Zionist settlers rampaged through East Jerusalem
attacking anyone who was a Palestinian whilst police and the military looked
on. Chanting their usual slogans of ‘Death to the Arabs’.Yet Starmer
and his fellow Zionists in the Cabinet have nothing to say about this annual

of a hospital or school. As Western doctors who worked in Gaza have testified

Hamas militants are underground. They are the least
likely to be killed. It is people like Waad’s family and Yaqeen who are being
killed in Israel’s exterminatiof the Palestinians.
Bombing
hospitals, homes, civilian infrastructure is a war crime yet Britain, Germany
and the United States, to this day, continue to supply Israel with more
weapons. And now they shed tears as they continue to supply those weapons. It
is Starmer’s decision to continue to supply Israel with weapons with which to
carry out yet more massacres which is why his claim that
such attacks are ‘horrific’ ring
hollow. Starmer, Lammy, Alexander and the rest of Labour’s war criminals have
it within their power to call a halt to supplying Israel with more weapons.

wars. Introduce a Prevention of Military Intervention Act and put human rights
at the heart of foreign policy. Review all UK arms sales and make us a force
for international peace and justice.

The anal rape of men, causing the death of at least

It was only after three months of a starvation

starvation blockade.
Your words were a further example of your
hypocrisy. At the very same time as your fake outrage you are continuing to
supply Israel with weapons with which to kill the very children whose murder
you pretend to condemn. The RAF continues to overfly Gaza supplying the killers
with intelligence. Lying is the only thing you are good at.
You have refused to consider sanctions on Israel
despite the call from 800+ lawyers, including former Supreme Court and Court of
Appeal Judges to do so. You have repeatedly called for sanctions on Russia yet
Russia hasn’t deliberately targeted children unlike Israel.

Christos Georgalas, a volunteer doctor in Gaza described how
the children he treated had cervical injuries of just a few millimeters yet
they had a very high speed of entry. He told how he saw in their neck a very
small hole, but making a CT scan he understood that their larynx, their wind,
the spine had dissolved. They're little volleys....
A fellow Spaniard told him that when
the Israelis had come to the hospital where the MRI scanner was, they were
trying to destroy everything. But the MRI is a huge machine. Even if you shoot
at it, it can be repaired. So they brought a special engineer to destroy it
permanently. A specialist had to come who understands the machine to make it
dysfunctional which is what happened last February.
Perhaps you can explain Starmer how
that is compatible with the Israeli lies that they only attack hospitals
because they are Hamas bases. Why would they want to destroy the medical
equipment?
In our hospital, the Israelis passed
through the chambers that were the incubators and systematically smashed them
one by one. These have been recorded by my colleagues. The hospital, where I
worked, was occupied by the Israelis for two months in February and March 2024.
Those doctors who had stayed in the hospital were tortured. They were put in
line one by one and beat them. They were kidnapped in total about 80. Of these,
40 do not know where they are or if they live. They killed a lot of people on
the spot.
What is stopping you immediately sanctioning Israel
and stopping the weapons supply other than the fact that your opposition to
what Israel is doing is about the optics rather than the reality of what they
are doing?
